I currently weigh 145. I chose Insanity because I'm getting married in October, and I want to look good for my wedding, and smokin' hot in a bikini on our honeymoon to Hawaii! Message me/add me if interested! Fri, 28 Oct 2011 01:38:31 EST Recovery Week I am on day 3 of my recovery week. I weight myself a couple times a week and this week my number has stayed the same. I know I know, the scale is only a number, use other ways to measure progress. I am getting my body fat measured after work today but I was wondering if anyone saw weight loss during this week. It just seems like I should be supplementing this week with another work out but...I guess that would defeat the recovery purpose. I joined this group for tips, motivation and accountability. I did P90X a while ago and felt great, but then let go a little when I was training for a marathon. That's over, so I'm giving this a shot because I need to tone up and get rid of my belly. I'm also trying to do the Primal Blueprint diet with this. Mon, 17 Oct 2011 14:52:14 EST First two days: Okay, so I did my first two days and my quads and hammies are KILLING me. I love it. (I'm a touch sadistic.) Tomorrow is Cardio recovery.... We'll see how it goes. I'm doing about 70% of the work out right now. My upper body is weak, but getting better. I think I expected myself to be able to do all of this right off the bat. . . I'm getting through the whole workout but I need to take extra breaks. . . This is probably going to sound crazy, but I don't know how to keep my core tight. I guess I can do it while standing still or doing very very low-key ab work, but I just don't get how I'm supposed to keep it tight while I'm doing these very insane cardio movements. My lower back is really killing me right now, so I know I need to figure out how to activate my core fast. Any advice would be appreciated!! These workouts are the shortest I've done in a while and I'm also taking in a much greater amount of calories than I'm used to. Before this I did Weight Watchers for four years, and the WW diet is much more low-cal. I was also running three to four times a week for 70-90 minutes at a time. Despite that, I was putting on weight on a gradual basis so I guess my body either got used to it or I wasn't eating enough. Now I'm concerned... So I skipped my work out this morning and went to my local grocery store to get some cough drops...they are not helping.
