My bp was 132/90 and I found out yesterday that my total cholesterol is in the acceptable range, but my triclycerides are still a little high. So I just wanted to share with my team members.
224 Sat, 22 Oct 2011 16:00:25 EST Hello-I am a new member My BP levels were always 110/70 until about 5 years ago when my cholesterol levels also went out of whack. I had a hard time understanding the cholesterol as I am not much of a cheese eater. Then I discovered high cholesterol is not only hereditary, but also associated with obesity/high weight gain. Currently I am approximately 80-100 pounds overweight and am taking crestor and atenolol for the cholesterol and bp. In addition, I take nexium for gerd/acid reflux/barrett's espohagus and pax... Hi there, tomorrow I will be going to see my doctor and have my blood pressure checked. It's been a bit high recently and I can only think it's all the stress that I'm going through at the moment, as well as being a bit wobbly with my mental health. However I'm working at getting my physical, mental and spiritual health good for myself and my family. These I believe are all interlinked. Tue, 19 Apr 2011 07:17:31 EST Puzzled by Cholesterol Numbers I have lost 79 pounds since May of 2010. I have completely changed my way of eating. I eat healthy and exercise daily and eat foods that are supposed to lower cholesterol. I just got my blood test results back and I'm horrified by my triglyceride levels. My BP was high, which is why I went to my regular doctor who put me on medication that also includes a diuretic, which apparently can make triglycerides higher? Since he's not the one who did the blood tests, I'm trying to get the two doctors to actually talk. It's harder than it should be, I think.

So I am now officially back on the ...
