March 5th is my 6 year surgiversary and I have been getting worried about my behavior of late. In the last year, I discovered I can tolerate small amounts of sugar and my eating has gotten a little crazy ... to the point that I have gained nearly 20 pounds. My goal is to nip this in the bud and get to my original personal goal for weight loss. Prior to gaining the weight, I had been 10 pounds below... I joined last summer after finding out I had type 2 diabetes at 35. I was significantly overweight, but I didn't think I was big enough to get diabetes. Talk about being dead wrong. I was just over 200 lbs at 5'4" and I never thought I had to worry about it unless I gained a lot more weight or was a lot older. Well I joined SP and got on the diet bandwagon and quickly realized I was losing and gaining the same 15 lbs. So I did something what many... I had open RNY July 02. I never did reach my goal weight, some do and some don't. I did lose down to 170 lbs from 281 lbs. I wanted to become healthy more than skinny. But skinny would have been nice. Anyway, I have gained back up over the 200 mark and I am getting scared. I know that I need to get back to the basics and start losing again but I just can't seem to get motivated for some reason. Got some kind of brain blockage, I guess. There are no ...
