SparkPeople Flying Pig Marathon Team Messageboard Thinking of running the Flying Pig Marathon in 2011? It's a few months off, but join our team as we get ready to Fly in May! SparkPeople Flying Pig Marathon Team Messageboard Signed up today for 2014! Cheapest rate if you sign up by 10/31/13

I'm a walker and signed up to walk the half. 4th time for Pig, 5th half! Thu, 31 Oct 2013 00:16:23 EST New Flying Pig Team - GO JOIN!

ndividual.asp?gid=58152

The folks who organize the sparkteam for JASR (Just a Short Run in Pittsburg) have decided to come down for The Pig, and created a new team to organize folks. Since they've had such success in putting things together (and I obviously didn't last year), I'm bowing out. I recommend joining that team for updates.

Eu Mon, 8 Oct 2012 12:34:41 EST Half pig in 2013? who's going? wanna meet up somewhere before? i will be walking with my husband, so i will probably be in the last "pig pen". and i am not a fast walker, so i will be taking at least 4 hrs to finish, if not 4 1/2 hrs. Thu, 4 Oct 2012 15:34:23 EST 2012 "Before Race" Meet Up So I've been racking my brains to come up with a good site to get together before The Pig. I was thinking we could meet up at a restaurant near the spark offices (in the hopes of luring some of the office folks to come join in), but none of them have reservable party rooms and being right near Bob Roncker's Running Spot, I expect they're all going to be pretty busy the night before the Pig with folks carb-loading.

So I had an alternate idea - what do you think about meeting up at ... Sun, 15 Apr 2012 10:01:03 EST Other races for training runs Hi, I am training for the half pig this year, which is only my second half marathon. I was wondering if there are other races between now and may, which would be good training runs. I am planning to do the Shamrock Shuffle 10k in Westchester on March 10. Unfortunately I will be out of town for the heart mini, as I heard that is a good one. Any other upcoming races? I think it would be helpful to run some hilly ones. Thu, 23 Feb 2012 06:13:00 EST A Good Training Race - the AHA Heart Mini! This year's AHA Heart Mini & 1/2 Marathon and Heartwalk is being held on Sunday March 18, 2012. It's a great "mid way" race to guage how you're training is progressing! And for non-locals, it is a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with running in the Queen City (aka the city built on 7 hills). :)

Come join our Sparkpeople of Cincinnati team!

rkpeopleofcincinnati
Wed, 28 Dec 2011 05:13:55 EST New Team Leader Hi All! Since I haven't been around for a while, I have given the team leader job to EUPHRATES! Next year, due to family committments - my son's first communion - I will be unable to run a Sunday event at the Flying Pig. However, I am going to do the flying pig's 10K on Saturday. I will return to the half/full in 2013....

It has been nice being a Spark Team leader, and I wish EUPHRATES the best of luck as a team leader.

I will still stay on the team just to hang with... Tue, 11 Oct 2011 15:31:42 EST Favorite Signs/Shi rts/Sites seen at the Pig? There were several signs that caught my attention at the Pig, and I was curious which ones stood out for you guys as well. My favorites were:

"If it were easy, I'd be out there doing it" - sign
"[big font]Marathon's are great ,[med font] except for all the running [small font] (which kind of sucks)" - shirt
"Toe nails are over rated" - sign
"Chuck Norris never did a Marathon" - sign
"Hurry up and finish, my arms are getting tired holding this sign" - sign
F... Tue, 3 May 2011 16:31:25 EST What event did you do on Flying Pig 2011? I want to know what event did you do on Flying Pig Weekend?

I was planning to run the half but I partially tore my planter fascia about two weeks ago and could not run so I handed out water at mile 22. Mon, 2 May 2011 15:06:16 EST Congratulations 2011 Runners/Wa alkers!!!! I'm sitting here at work today with an icepack on my hip, but I have a shiney new medal to display! 334

The rain was a huge challenge for me this year, not sure why, it rains EVERY year on the Pig lol but I had a blast, finished 3:28 (8 whole minutes better than last time in 09)!!

I'll be at the state to state half marathon in September- anyone else? Mon, 2 May 2011 08:31:07 EST PARTICIPANT TRACKING FYI:

/index.php

Text and email alerts available to track the runners! Very cool! Wed, 27 Apr 2011 09:50:33 EST Attire Is anyone wearing pig gear? I bought some pink running capris, arm warmers that say I love pig and have a little pig face on them, flying pig socks, and am concidering a tutu 334 I also have a flying pig visor and pink running sunglasses Thu, 21 Apr 2011 10:17:26 EST Want to try and meet up before the start? This will be my first Flying Pig, so I don't know the feasibility of trying to meet up before the race(s) begin, but I think it would be nice to actually meet some of folks I know are running it this year. Do any of the veterans here have suggestions of on the practicality of trying to set a rendezvous point for SparkPeople to introduce themselves prior to the race? Mon, 11 Apr 2011 10:20:18 EST Is anyone traveling in 2011? Is anyone coming to the Pig from out of town this year? Tue, 18 Jan 2011 05:44:48 EST Inspirational Quote A fellow runner on another board posted this and I love it and wanted to share!

"It's very hard to understand in the beginning that the whole idea is not to beat the other runners. Eventually you learn that the competition is against the little voice inside you that wants to quit. "

Dr. George Sheehan

Fri, 14 Jan 2011 11:21:25 EST For those in the Mason/West Chester, OH area Over the weekend I discovered a running store I was previously unaware of. Mojo Running is right off of I-75 in the Union Square area. Head away from the theater when taking the off ramp and hang a right as you get to the road leading to the West Chester library (past chipotle). The store will be on the back corner of the building, next to Smoothie King.

Anyway, I mention this here because they also have a Flying Pig training program, with organized group runs and a day-by-day tra... Mon, 10 Jan 2011 11:36:49 EST Only an hour (or so) left for early bird rate... If you register for either the half or the full marathons (and possibly other races, I didn't pay attention) before midnight tonight, you qualify for early bird rate. After midnight, there is an appx $15 rate bump. I thought folks might have been procrastinating or on the fence, so figured I'd remind folks that now would be good time to commit if you haven't already. :-)

-- William Fri, 31 Dec 2010 22:51:45 EST January Challenge I think we need a couple challenges to keep people focused on training and cross training, and also to keep people looking at the board.

My challenge for January is:
1. Stretch EVERY day
2. Swim twice a week
3. Keep my run pace under 12:00 miles.

What's yours Tue, 28 Dec 2010 08:40:50 EST Winter training Since it's really snowy out, and that might be an indicator of the next 2-3 months, I thought I'd put a post in here about winter running gear.

Running outside in the winter is really not that bad. You do need to put a little money into it, though. You can get quality running gear that is graded for temperatures.

I usually wear some running pants (Sport Hill Winter is a brand that I like because they make pants in "Tall" sizes). If the weather is predicted to remain U... Tue, 21 Dec 2010 09:10:07 EST Which Race Will You Be Doing on Pig Weekend? As of right now, my race is the Full marathon. However, if I am injured or cannot complete the long runs, I will move down to half. Sun, 5 Dec 2010 08:01:29 EST What's on your iPod? What do you listen to when running/walking? I am looking for suggestions... Fri, 3 Dec 2010 15:47:33 EST Seven Hills Run The Seven Hills Run is a 12.3 mile run intended to challenge runners over extremely hilly terrain through the streets of Cincinnati. It is not a race nor is it intended to be. The goal is is to finish the run.
The run starts near downtown at Lincoln Community Center, and winds through Mt. Adams by way of Monastery St. It will then continue to Mt. Auburn, Bellevue Hills, Fairview Heights, Harrison Ave. Hill, up Lehman Rd. and end in Price Hill.
The run is on Sunday December 5, 2010 a... Wed, 17 Nov 2010 20:42:50 EST Base training Although the Pig is a few months away, it's time to start base building. Base building is easy - it's getting miles under your belt so that you have a more successful training session.

A suggestion (merely a suggestion) is that if you aren't already doing a run/walk that is a little longer in length, you might want to start doing that. If you usually run 3-4 mile runs when you're not training, try to run two or three 3 milers, a 4 miler (mid-week) and a 5-6 miler on Saturday or ... Tue, 26 Oct 2010 20:34:08 EST How is everyone doing? Just checking in. Wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions to help me out with this page.

I am currently injured and not running, but plan on running the 2011 Flying Pig marathon. All 26.2 miles. On that date it will be 2 years since I did a full marathon and I am determined to be ready for it.

Please post your own update to the page!!! We would all love to hear how everyone's doing. Sun, 17 Oct 2010 08:57:32 EST Pig in 2011? So yeah, I started back to Spark People at the end of May, obviously too late to do anything about the Pig THIS year...but I've *always* wanted to do it (my sister and I walked the Disney Half Marathon in 2004, and have been talking about doing our home town marathon ever since), so I'm thinking about making it a goal to participate in 2011. I don't know the inner-workings of how teams are set up on this site - will the name/goals/description on this one change, or will somebody be making a n... Thu, 8 Jul 2010 05:58:50 EST What will you do next? Now that you finished the Flying Pig marathon or half marathon. What will you do next?

My next run will most likely be the Mount Airy Dirt Days TrailRun at Mount Airy forest. I will probably do just the 5.5 mile but they have an 11 mile route for those interested.

Thu, 6 May 2010 20:29:08 EST How'd everyone do? It was a VERY wet race this morning.... but I finished! Woo Hoo!!
How'd you all do? 312 244 243 Sun, 2 May 2010 19:57:43 EST What did you think of the expo? I love our expo!!! Although my running experience is not worldly or anything, from what I hear ours is one of the best out there! Sat, 1 May 2010 07:54:57 EST Just found you too... Hi all. A bit late in joining the team, but Lord's Willing I will be running the Flying Pig marathon this Sunday. First time ever running a marathon, but I'm as ready as I'm gonna get.

p.s. Hi to those I know on the team. We can do this! Fri, 30 Apr 2010 09:48:54 EST Just found you all... Hi, I'm Heather. The Pig will be my first 1/2... I'm disappointed that I just found this team with only 6 days to go.
I'm excited & nervous ... the hills are kinda freaking me out!!
Happy running! Mon, 26 Apr 2010 07:28:14 EST Runner tracking Tell your friends and family that runner tracking is set up on the Pig's website. They can track you for any of the sunday races, splits or finishes. Great if they are going to be meeting up with you afterward.
Sat, 24 Apr 2010 18:46:49 EST ARE YOU READY YET? Training report/update

What is your goal time for your race?

Do you think you're ready? Tue, 20 Apr 2010 10:27:37 EST Walking the half Hi -

I just registered to walk the half!

I did it last year and it about killed me.. LOL

I'm overweight and slow, but have been training.. much more so than last year. You runners will be breezing my me, for sure ;-)

Had so much fun last year, can't wait until next month!

One of my problems last year was the hills -- I live in Dallas, and we have no hills here!! Thu, 1 Apr 2010 00:56:05 EST Countdown to the Flying Pig! Expected race paces? Only about a month to go until race day! How's everyone doing/feeling? I hope that your training has gone well. I'm very much looking forward to the race. The Flying Pig will kick off my race season. My race pace has been between 7:30-7:45 min/mile during training, so I hope to finish in the 3:20-3:25 range. Tue, 30 Mar 2010 13:31:52 EST Have you registered yet? For the Pig, I mean. I am going to register for the half next Monday (March 8) as soon as I get my medical release from Doc. Sat, 27 Feb 2010 08:27:53 EST The Flying Pig "hills" Okay...anyone out there want to cue me in on these so called "Hills" that I have had people (past runners) warn me about. More so, I know that I am going to run this half marathon, what I am looking for are other people's input on how they felt and how they trained to prepare themselves for these "hills". 334 Sun, 24 Jan 2010 12:15:50 EST The importance of Strength and Cross training I would like to remind everyone of the importance of strength training and cross training to a running plan. I am saying this from experience, too because I don't want anyone to end up getting as injured as I was. I went from an exercise plan of mostly group exercise classes and The Firm DVD's to nothing but running. As a result, I did no strength or cross training during 2008. I ended up injured and extremely lopsided in my leg strength because of the injury. I am now in a long stint of... Fri, 8 Jan 2010 07:52:40 EST Full in 2010 I'm planning to run the full Pig in May. It will be my 4th full, and first marathon since 2007. Training is going well, but the weather in Atlanta is not cooperating - too many days with highs in the 30's. At least I get to put all my cold weather gear to the test! Mon, 4 Jan 2010 10:46:25 EST Full in 2010 I'm planning to run the full Pig in May. It will be my 4th full, and first marathon since 2007. Training is going well, but the weather in Atlanta is not cooperating - too many days with highs in the 30's. At least I get to put all my cold weather gear to the test! Mon, 4 Jan 2010 10:46:18 EST Full in 2010 I'm planning to run the full Pig in May. It will be my 4th full, and first marathon since 2007. Training is going well, but the weather in Atlanta is not cooperating - too many days with highs in the 30's. At least I get to put all my cold weather gear to the test! Mon, 4 Jan 2010 10:35:05 EST What "gear" do you use? Just curious. I have a Garmin (Forerunner 405) that I measure miles and pace with, and I have an iPod. It's an old-school iPod, but it works for me. As long as I remember to wear it close to my body when the temp is below freezing, it works great! Mon, 28 Dec 2009 08:23:24 EST Good places to train on the East Side? Hi, everyone! I'll be running my third Flying Pig half marathon in 2010 - and I've brought a friend on board for her first half marathon! We'll start our 12-week training program in February.

I live in Oakley, so my previous training has been mostly loops around that neighborhood (and on the trail at Lunken Airport once it starts staying light a bit later). But if I'm going to do some training runs with my friend, we might need something more out in the suburbs (she lives in Milfor... Sun, 13 Dec 2009 12:41:22 EST Half Marathon Hey,

I'm new to the team and a pretty novice runner. One goal I've always had is running a half marathon, and being a Cincinnati native, the obvious choice is the Flying Pig.

For someone like me, who has never run over 7 miles at one time, a half marathon is going to be challenge. It's a challenge that I'm ready for.

I hope you all will be able to keep me motivated to run on these cold days and give training advice to me. I'll need all the help I can get. <B... Fri, 11 Dec 2009 16:19:44 EST What are you doing this weekend? I am going to two PHISH shows down at US bank arena. Fri, 20 Nov 2009 10:29:19 EST How may miles did you run/walk today? Post it here - let's keep ourselves accountable! Fri, 20 Nov 2009 10:28:08 EST Wheel points? How many did you get today? I got 5 Fri, 20 Nov 2009 10:26:54 EST What's the funniest thing... that ever happened to you while running?

Last fall, while doing one of my Taper runs for the Columbus marathon, I drop kicked a squirrel. It was in a yard that I was running past. Usually they run away from me, but for some reason, this one ran toward me. Well, it hit my foot as I was bringing it forward and it went flying... Let me tell you, I took off as fast as I could because I thought it was going to chase me and bite me. So funny... Wed, 4 Nov 2009 13:28:20 EST Do you have any fall/winter race plans? Since I'm injured, I am not doing any racing, but would like to know if anyone else is running the Thanksgiving Day race, or any other races? Tue, 3 Nov 2009 08:56:19 EST 5 interesting things about yourself Let's get to know each other. What are 5 interesting things about you?

1. My son was born when I was almost 32 weeks pregnant.

2. I have been to Australia, and New Zealand.

3. I am currently hurt, but hope to get fixed up for training.

4. I love running and swimming

5. I hate all white condiments (mayo, sour cream, ranch, etc) Sun, 18 Oct 2009 19:04:50 EST Start planning now Start looking into hotels now, so you will be ready for the Pig in May! Sun, 18 Oct 2009 19:03:04 EST Are you running the pig in 2010? Just post it here - My goal is to do the whole enchilada - we'll see where I'm at after I have my doctor's appt and possibly surgery. If there is surgery involved, I'm going to push for ASAP, so I can start training in Late December. I watched the columbus marathon today, and am SOOOO ready to run a race! Sun, 18 Oct 2009 19:02:15 EST How is everyone doing? I am doing OK - training for Columbus marathon, but hurt again. Going to the Orthopedic on Tuesday to find out exactly what is wrong with my hip. Even though, I know it's jammed again - one leg is about 1/4 inch shorter than the other one. I just hope it shows up on an x-ray, and that he can fix it without telling me to stop running. Sun, 6 Sep 2009 08:27:25 EST How is your running going this summer?? Let us know what you're doing as far as running/walking goes. It has been a decent summer for me so far - not too hot, even if it has been rainy! Wed, 29 Jul 2009 19:17:03 EST Is anyone training for anything? Is anyone training for any fall races in the area - Reggae Run, race for the cure, Lady Distance classic, Run like hell, Thanksgiving day? Those are all upcoming events.

I am going to do the Chicago half marathon in August, and probably the USAF half marathon in September; both as training runs. Fri, 17 Jul 2009 15:52:48 EST Pig in 2010? I know the description of this team was for this past Pig, but I plan to run the Full this coming May 2010. It will be my first. I've done a couple 1/2s and several 5ks so far this year. I have a handful of 5ks, a 5mi, a 10k and one more half on the agenda then I get about a month off and start training for the full.

I think it would be great to meet up with other sparkers in Cincy! Wed, 13 May 2009 08:43:09 EST Will you do it again?? Now that the Pig is over, I would like to know how many of you would do it again. Will you switch races (i.e. half to full, 10K to half, full to half) or will you stick to your same race?

I plan on running the full again next year.
Wed, 6 May 2009 08:36:59 EST What's your post-race workout plan? I know I'm supposed to take-it-easy for about a month, but I just can't seem to sit still! I walked to the bank and back to deposit a check. That was 1.82 miles. I want to get into tennis again, but my "stuck on miles" brain is trying to think a) how many miles is that? and 2) how many calories is that? 100 Tue, 5 May 2009 15:42:30 EST How was the race? Being my first, it was automatically going to be a PR. What time I finished is less important than I got to the "Finish Swine".

Hope you all had a Great Race. 104 Sun, 3 May 2009 16:39:45 EST JEAN (JONNYSMOMMY) When are you getting here? Wed, 29 Apr 2009 07:39:02 EST Sorry I joined so late... ...but I just found out about this site two months ago and committed to running the marathon at about the same time. It turns out that my decision to get in shape coincided nicely with an invitation to run on a relay team.

I'll be running as part of Team Willie for 700WLW (I'm a reporter/anchor for the news dept.) and I've been in training now for about 7 weeks. I'll be running the third leg of the relay. I'm just happy to finally be in shape again and can't wait to run in my firs... Tue, 28 Apr 2009 17:11:48 EST What's your number? Wed, 22 Apr 2009 07:32:16 EST Checking the weather If you are curious about Cincinnati weather (which is crazy - it was sunny AND raining yesterday), and you need a zip code to put into, use 45208 - it is one of the zip codes that we run through during the race. Wed, 22 Apr 2009 07:25:37 EST Nervous This being off for a week has got me nervous about losing conditioning. The coaches all said I wouldn't, but I still can't help but wonder if I'll be ready on May 3. At least I know my hip won't hurt - the pain is getting to be less and less each day! Tue, 7 Apr 2009 07:35:05 EST I'm getting really excited!!! I've never run a marathon or a half before so I'm getting really excited about FP weekend! We aren't going to be able to spend the night Sat, but we only live an hour away. My husband and my g-friend are doing the 5K on Sat and I'm doing the half on Sun. I have NO IDEA what to expect. Thu, 12 Mar 2009 07:57:15 EST Bummer Unfortunately, due to my leg injury which caused an extended off running time, i will not be running the Pig this year :(
Also, if truth be told, an added thing was the cost factor as we are trying with all we have to get out of debt and adding hotels to my budget wasnt working.

I will be trying to train for a marathon in June...we'll see. Wow, usually by the end of February, my flowers have started to come up, but I haven't seen any crocuses or daffodils peaking out of the ground yet. When will it warm up for good??? Mon, 23 Feb 2009 07:10:20 EST sick, sick, sick! Sorry I have been MIA, but I have been incredibly sick the past three days - so bad that I had my 4 year old taking care of me on Monday (as much as he could do). I haven't run since Sunday, and am not sure if I will get a run in today because it's raining and it's supposed to be a group run - don't know if I can handle it yet - I feel pretty weak, and my head is killing me. Wed, 18 Feb 2009 07:32:50 EST New Flying Pig Logo Shirts If you go to there are new shirts in the Flying Pig e-store. They are cool! Tue, 10 Feb 2009 07:37:17 EST WALKERS? I just had an "ah ha" that if I set a goal to walk the 10K in the flying pig that would get me motivated to get in shape. I saw a post from someone intending to walk the half-marathon. Anyone else aiming for the 10k walk or am I the whimp of the group? I would like to join anyway if you all don't mind. Tue, 27 Jan 2009 15:30:15 EST The Three mile hill OK all, for those who haven't run the pig before, check out the elevation map on the marathon website. There is three miles of uphill from mile 5-8.

I had nightmares about that hill last year, but I am happy to say, NO MORE. This running group that I'm in has me doing that hill all the time - in 6 group runs, we've gone up it twice! I will be ready for it! Sat, 24 Jan 2009 16:45:37 EST Long Runs Hi everyone! I thought it might be a good idea to keep track of our long runs, to keep ourselves accountable! I have an 8-10 mile run scheduled for tomorrow. If I were doing Higdon, it would be a step back week for me, but it's a step up. My step back is next week. The group I'm training with promises to let us run a marathon and still have a life, Ha, ha!

What's your weekly long distance (run/walk)? The price goes up on January 31. Right now the full marathon is only $65. On Feb. 1 it goes up to some other amount! Sun, 4 Jan 2009 10:38:06 EST Have you started training? Hi all! I started my Higdon Intermediate II plan on tuesday and wondering what you are doing.....I ordered a treadmill yesterday!!woohoo! So that will leave me without excuse - although it dosent come in until the 21st. hope you are finding your motivation! I am also looking to lose 10-15 pounds. I am not sure how low my body will go, but i want to be healthy but carry less on May 3 :)

Happy New Year! Fri, 2 Jan 2009 12:56:55 EST need to get motivated to start training! As I sit here yawning I am thinking of the fact that I am SUPPOSED to start training next week! I have 0 energy to do so and i am sure some of that comes from my crappy diet, my hatred of winter weather and just plain laziness. I asked my hubby the other day if i could just go run the marathon without training 303

I love the whole marathon experience- just hate the training. I had a great excuse for not running the past few days...below zero its lik... Wed, 24 Dec 2008 09:54:35 EST Welcome new teammates A big warm welcome to all of you! Glad you have decided to make a commitment to the yourself and the Flying Pig Marathon (or half, or relay, or 10K or 5K, walking or running or wheelchair). Have a great day! Wed, 17 Dec 2008 07:28:39 EST when will you start your training? I still have to for sure get my plan and then figure out when I will start...I know if i had a plan i may get out there and run consistantly....with all this cold and snow though i MUST play santa for myself and get some real winter running clothes instead of trying to use whatever is in my drawer.... Sat, 6 Dec 2008 09:12:49 EST Injured... I am taking this hip flexor tendinitis very seriously. I had to stop a run yesterday, because it just wouldn't stop hurting. Will be calling the doctor today.

Marathon training starts in 28 days and I need to be healthy. Mon, 1 Dec 2008 07:26:16 EST Marathon Training Groups Does anyone train with a marathon-specific training group? I have looked into two of them, one at Bob Roncker's Running Spot (costs $100), and one at Meters and Miles in Northern KY (costs $60). I am not sure if I will join one - the idea of running with a group kind of appeals to me right now - I run SO much faster at races or when there are other runners around. Sun, 30 Nov 2008 08:32:37 EST How was your Thanksgiving? How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was awesome - from my 10K in the morning until the last bite of food was eaten and the dishes cleaned up! I love Thanksgiving! Fri, 28 Nov 2008 08:02:09 EST Team in Training Is anyone doing the Pig for a charity? I went to a "Team in Training"meeting last night, and am considering it... Tue, 18 Nov 2008 06:10:48 EST About me.... I am Molly, AKA GOODMAR, and I have been running for a little over 2 years. I have found that running gives me inner peace, and it is a way for me to sort out my thoughts for the day, while exercising. I love to set a goal, and work towards achieving it. That's why I set a goal to run my first marathon (Flying Pig 2007). Achieving this goal involved a foot surgery in 2006, beginning running on the treadmill, the Thanksgiving day race in 2006. It also involved countless hours out on the st... Sun, 16 Nov 2008 09:05:27 EST What technology do you use? Do you use a Garmin? HRM? iPod? Let us know what you use and why you like it! Fri, 14 Nov 2008 17:10:33 EST How do you cross train? On your non-running days, what type of exercise/exercises do you do? I like to do exercise videos. I also do more strength training on those days. Fri, 14 Nov 2008 07:38:10 EST Why I started this team... I have been on Spark for almost a year, and have "met" a lot of wonderful people. As the year has progressed, I found that there are a lot of people who are interested in running the Flying Pig Marathon. I have been running for only two years, and started running so I could run the Flying Pig. It is so much fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to add a fun marathon in a fun city to their race calendar. Wed, 12 Nov 2008 15:38:23 EST
