Wed, 29 Oct 2008 16:21:07 EST Quads hurting--anyone else? "Oh yuck" is all I can say! The topside & outside area of my quads have been hurting like crazy since I (so recently!) started doing the jumping jacks. New muscles re-awakened obviously, but the hurt (I wouldn't call it a strong pain) has been keeping me awake during the nights, not allowing me to be able to relax since I feel it most every minute of every day. (humph!) I've tried doing some self-massage on them, (maybe not as much as I could I suppose though.) I'm really reluctant to go down... I finally went to the specialist today - good thing I did... <BR> <BR> First a little background - it all started about 3-4 months ago, I was experiencing GREAT pain in my left knee... it wasn't an all the time thing, nor when I walked. It only happened if I put any pressure at all on my knee, and if I bent my knee too much. HOPTOIT7 <em>172</em> Sat, 2 Aug 2008 23:01:50 EST Injury report Hi everyone, Iasade had been keeping good tabs on me and I'm happy to report that even though I have a partial tear in one of the tendons in my ankle and have a cyst on my ankle, I do not need surgery at this time and instead of a cast, I am in a boot cast which I can remove and I am allowed to walk with it.
