SparkPeople SP Class of November 30- December 6, 2008 Team Messageboard Back again! Hello, everyone! I am back again from a long absence from SP. Since I had last logged in I had lost about twenty pounds. I decided to go back SP for motivational reasons and to better educate myself about weight loss. Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself to the team. I originally joined on 12/3/08, but didn't stick with it, and ended up gaining 20lbs while I was away. I started back with SP in mid-January 2010 and have been pretty consistent since. I was so motivated by fining this group of people who joined when I did, and who stuck with it and accomplished so much. It gives me hope. Congratulations to all of you! Mon, 22 Feb 2010 09:00:03 EST How do you exercise through those days???? Hi I was just always wondering how do I exercise or should I exercise at all, and is it OK to exercise if you have periods. Do you exercise on these days and if you do how do you manage pain???

This month was the only month I didn't felt sorry for myself. I usually never exercise just sleep or lay down, also eat a lot. So I think that it depends on a person if he would like to take a chance and be active even through these days. Mon, 18 Jan 2010 04:37:12 EST Happy Anniversary! Hi All,

Just wanted to check in and say hi.

Happy anniversary to everyone! We had Thanksgiving today, late I know, and now that it's out of the way I'm ready to get on track to losing weight. I was doing a program, quite successfully, but got off track when the center closed. Then, went off of a medication and gained almost all of the weight back that I lost on the program. I'm not stuggling to get back to where I was. I don't want to have to count or keep ... Sun, 30 Nov 2008 20:09:16 EST Not Getting Emails I have not received any emails from SP -- when there have replies to my threads, or new topics are created, nor the usual Welcome to SP emails you get when you first sign up. I know from being here in the past that there have been regular problems with mail, and also that Comcast (my ISP) and others have blocked SP mail.

(Nope, they aren't going into my Junk Mail folder)

Any ideas? I looked on the Tech site, but didn't see anything.

Thanks so much. Sun, 30 Nov 2008 17:45:02 EST Hi from New Mexico Re-starting my program with SP after a DISASTROUS fall. Just need to get in control during this tough season. I want to just focus on this one day at a time, and not the end goal. Eat well and within my range. Exercise consistently.

I'm 57, married with four-footed animals, a book-a-holic, work with my husband at home but we travel for work a fair bit as well.

And I look forward to getting to know my team mates!

Thanks, too, to our team leaders for all you... I just joined today and plan on changing my eating habits starting tomorrow. I have gained 15 pounds in the past year and have struggled all of 2008 to lose weight and actually have put on more. I struggle with binging and overeating at meals. I'm in college and it is really hard to eat healthy when the ones around you are eating pizza, cookies, brownies and soda all the time and do not worry about their weight. I want to feel comfortable for the first time in years in a bathing suit t... Sun, 30 Nov 2008 13:43:06 EST I've Got 2 Be Real with myself. Good Morning All.
