I have had issues with being addicted to breads and pastries my whole life only to find out that I am one of the lucky ones who has a gluten intolerance that is neurological (goes to my brain like heroine). So yes I am actually an addict. Now I have the challenge of trying to give it up cold turkey but most GF foods are full of starches and I am still addicted to sugar. So here goes my new journey. I used to take over 100 units in a day and now I take 47 in a day. <BR> <BR> I have also lost 27 pounds in 8 weeks. They contain a huge amt. of salt. <BR> <BR> I have found when using canned beans, for example, I rinse them and that gets rid of at least some of the salt. Better choice . . . if you're going to use beans for a dish, get the dried beans and soak them overnight. This helps get them a little bit softened. It takes a little more time, but so worth it ...
