I have had an issue with my weight for years. I never stick to any weight loss program for more than a week. I joined SparkPeople way back but never really used it. I am pulling my socks and gearing up right now :) Sat, 31 Mar 2012 13:17:21 EST What are your favorite exercises/ /workouts? I'm just curious about what types of workouts others in this team enjoy. Walks (hikes), yoga and occasionally pilates are what I enjoy. Everyone is different, so I know there are a lot of different stories out there and I'd like to hear some of them.
417 Fri, 9 Mar 2012 15:36:39 EST Is anybody still out there? Can you belive there are over 16,000 of us on this SparkTeam? Wow!

Like a lot of people, probably, I come and go. I need to come and stay, but I was away from SparkPeople for a while. When I came back this time, I promised myself to get involved in the community more. Of course, I came here--to my very first SparkTeam.

Is anyone out there interested in talking to each other and getting things going again? Let me know if you are still around. Sun, 4 Mar 2012 08:54:30 EST 2012 Goals I have 3 goals for this year.

1. To get to onederland which means losing 10 pounds or about a pound a month. This is not easy for me. I am slow slow slow. However I just got a call that my knee replacement is going to happen in 2 weeks. Woot! Or woot? I can still keep exercising ten minutes a day and eat well.

2. To try something new. I had chosen doing a dragon boat race but just watched the videos and I think I better try it before committing to a team event... Mon, 22 Aug 2011 03:36:24 EST starting over Learning to love life Sun, 17 Jul 2011 11:50:13 EST 3rd Anniversary reunion! I can't believe this much time has passed. I'm Justyna. I love SP and have made some great friends here. I am not yet in one-derland but am amazed that I have lost weight and kept it off. I used the streaks when I started and have done several challenges. SP got me through a very difficult personal year without gaining. My goal now? Just keep at it. I recognize that exercising regularly for me means hiking when I can, gardening when I have to, and swimming on a regular basis. I have ... Wed, 6 Jul 2011 07:22:31 EST Anyone want a team goal? Make a fresh start! I have not joined this team's goals because I have a number of goals on other teams going... but should someone be interested we could start a team goal. We have experience now with SP and seen what has worked. Most of us are beyond needing to make drinking water a goal. It can be short or long term. Just let me know and I will make an announcement to the team! Tue, 26 Apr 2011 11:12:33 EST Still sparking? Share your story. This team is made up of people who all began SP in July 2008. It says a lot that you are reading this. I'm sure many team mates went by the way side. I think you have to be ready for SP. Ready to change. I'm joining as a co-leader and would love to know more about you and hear from you if you want some support. I can't promise I will post on the message boards every day but feel free to ask if you want support.

1. I'm from Ottawa Ontario Canada
2. I found SP when looki... Sat, 23 Apr 2011 12:51:41 EST Coming Home-- What's happening with you? So I proved to myself that I can't do this on my own. Back to my start weight again, and determined to do it this time. With the help of Spark People and my teams I am starting over again. I have resubmitted my referral for weight loss surgery, but am secretly hoping I lose enough weight that when my name finally comes up, I won't be eligible any more.

I am looking for members from my original team, and wanting to know how you have managed to stay on track and focused all this time... Thu, 24 Mar 2011 07:21:26 EST Hi! Encouragement Please!!! Hi--I came here months ago and didn't stay. I want so badly to lose this darn weight, can you give me tips that have helped you using this site and with your food.

Thanks sooo much!! :) :) Wed, 2 Feb 2011 15:01:52 EST time to get fit mother of 3 HI Everyone,
With the new year here, I am approaching my 50th birthday and cannot greet June in the shape and size I am today. Christmas is over and so should be my over indulgence of food.
Since my devoted fitness friend moved away a couple of years ago, I stopped a pretty healthy fitness regime we both enjoyed. I don't have any other friends who share my goal and so must bite the bullet and do it on my own. Mon, 3 Jan 2011 02:41:19 EST Here come the holidays!
