Wed, 9 Jan 2013 22:23:11 EST Happy 2013! When I first moved to Colorado I was losing weight like crazy! I was going hiking almost everyday and walking my dogs everyday... Then the summer hit and it was a doozy!! We're talking temperatures in the 100's all summer here and I had no relief. My apartment at the time didn't have AC and fans just weren't cutting it so the dogs and I got lazy cuz it was just too hot to do anything and now that it has cooled down, I just can't seem to find the motivation to get active and get out again.... Thu, 6 Dec 2012 01:41:50 EST Hi everyone! Hi everyone!
I've been with SP since January and have lost about 33 pounds. The weight just seemed to melt away from January to July. Happy Sparking! :) Mon, 8 Oct 2012 00:07:27 EST disability rating while drowning in debt Hello Everyone,

I'll make this short, does anyone know the average time to get a disability rating from the
Army? Also, if anyone has any experience in their spouse receiving a disability rating, is it retro active pay from the last day he worked in the military? You would think after serving 31 years in the army reserve and doing five tours they would be a little more attentive to his financial and physical needs. I really disappointed how his career ended : ( Tue, 2 Oct 2012 19:32:32 EST Hello Hi everyone! Nice to meet all of you.
I have been on SP for almost a month, but am still figuring out all the message boards and spark teams. I'm happy to be on this team "Military Wives" in every aspect of life :)
We are at Drum. Mon, 17 Sep 2012 23:58:34 EST Air National Guard wife Hello all, my name is Mary. My husband spent seven years on active duty in the Air Force, and is currently serving in the ANG. I thought this would be a good group to join since he goes on orders for 90 days starting October 1st, so I am going to get to experience all the fun of military separation (minus the support of living on a military base!) I'm looking forward to meeting other wives in the same boat! Thu, 6 Sep 2012 08:16:18 EST Hello - new to military life Hi everyone! My name is Sarah. My husband is currently in basic training w/ the Army. Few more weeks left till we get to see each other and then he is on to 6 months of additional training. Thu, 23 Aug 2012 02:45:29 EST Monthly goals vs. weekly goals... So it appears that I am the only one posting weekly goals and I am curious if you would prefer to post goals for the month instead of every week? Or if you don't want to post goals at all... what are your ideas for sparking up this team? Let me know! :) Mon, 20 Aug 2012 16:15:14 EST Weekly Goals 7/29 What are your goals this week and how did you do last week? We will see how long my daughter naps.

This week:

Run 4 times
Lift weights 2 times
Yoga 1 time, but hopefully more because we are moving to CA in 3 months and I am starting to feel the effects of the stress aka pimples and not being able to sleep.

Your turn! Sun, 29 Jul 2012 14:04:40 EST Hello! Hi, I'm new to this SparkTeam! Or maybe you haven't really thought about this and it would be very helpful for you to brainstorm on this topic a while.

My obstacles are not going to bed early enough so that I can wake up early and get my workout done. He is on independent duty here in Fort Worth (he doesn't even work on base), and we've basically been living like civilians. I'd like to get to know some military wives so I can kind of prepare myself for the military lifestyle again... Mon, 4 Oct 2010 19:25:36 EST Hey! Hi! I'm Abi. Currently at Fort Leonard Wood. My weight loss journey started back in April when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes b(at 25, ugh). Started out at 170. I'm down to 150. Looking to get down to 110.

I'm not on any meds and would like to keep it that way. In addition, grad school, an over active toddler and my own business have taken their toll on my waist line and its time that I remedy that....
