Mon, 28 Jan 2013 20:27:39 EST New Teammate here New to the team, but not to Spark!

I joined this team because I have an adult son with special needs. When it comes to simple things he is very much challenged and he still needs assistance, particularly with managing money. He knows money can buy things, but as for the responsibility of it he doesn't get (yet). Hope to get some ideas from this team.
Mon, 28 Jan 2013 11:14:36 EST frugal weekend plans I am looking forward to the weekend and coming up with frugal plans for the kiddos. I have about 40 pounds to lose but more important I want to lead a healthier lifestyle for myself and my children. I want to be a positive role model in all areas of my life. 224 Mon, 14 Jan 2013 19:27:48 EST Eating healthy and organic on the cheap I don't have many ideas, so I'm hoping to expand my tips. One thing I learned, is to keep a spray bottle full of vinegar at the kitchen counter. Spraying produce, then washing under cold, running water helps to get rid of some pesticide residue. I can save by not buying all organic produce. What tips do you use to get high quality food for cheap? We have a life-time membership that cost us $50.00 five years ago and it has long paid for itself. Since we have eaten mostly organic, less meat and mo...
