Now all of a sudden my calorie counter went up 200 calories! I don't even do strength training! I have been putzing around, but got more serious with my food journal and found I have been eating a lot of cheese, fats in general. Going for more protein. I wanted to know what else to expect and for how long. I was told that to cure the headache I need to bump my carbs by 200 more than what is recommended every four days or so. I'm having a little trouble getting all my carbs. I'm having a problem with cramps in my lower calf and feet on both legs. I think it may be because I have been walking more and doing more activities but I'm not sure. I tried adding potassium rich foods but that hasn't helped. Any suggestions? Tue, 4 Mar 2008 22:23:07 EST I learned something today I always figured because they're always telling you to eat rice, that rice was a lower calorie option, than mashed potatoes, today I pulled them both into my meal plan, just to see, and discovered that mashed potatoes are actually lower calorie, and have teh same number of carbs, the only way rice is better for you, is it has less fat, zero grams to the potatoes one gram.
