It is going to be so easy to reach my goals now with the support offered here. I am here also to lend the help and support.. Have a nice day. Fri, 25 Jan 2008 01:01:01 EST You ARE what you eat! Interesting!!! I received this in an email and thought I would share. I found it very interesting, I hope you do also.

How very interesting!

You are what you eat, so eat well. A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by today's investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what was once called 'The Doctrine of Signatures' was astoundingly correct. It now contends that every whole food has a pattern that resembles a body organ or physiological func... Thu, 24 Jan 2008 22:54:57 EST "SPRUCE" up your Drinking Water! For those of you having trouble drinking your 64 oz. a day, you may want to try some of the following; hope it helps:

"Spruce Up Yor Water"

Flavored waters have been popping up all over the place, but many still contain sugar or artificial sweeteners. A healthier choice is natural flavoring: Just add slices of your favorite fruits and veggies — lemons, oranges, watermelon, cucumber, mint, or limes — to a pitcher of ice-cold water for a refreshing and flavorful drink. Ano... Thu, 24 Jan 2008 22:04:14 EST A little nervous about tomorrow night Okay here is the deal. My church women get together once a month to blow off some steam and have girl talk no hubbies no kids but lots of food and lots of wine. We decided to do a chinese theme so I got a stirfry recipe of sparkrecipes and also got yesterdays featured recipe for healthy chocolate cake to take with me since I know I can eat those. If I am strong and stick to my menu for the day and have 2 glasses of wine I will stay with in my goal. I'm just afraid that in the end I will blow ... Thu, 24 Jan 2008 20:23:18 EST having a problem Today, I am having problems adding my cardio exercise on the fitness page. I can add food on the nutrition page, but none of the buttons or links work on the fitness page. Is there somewhere to get help?
Thu, 24 Jan 2008 19:18:30 EST ... and they thought I wouldn't notice! ...or maybe they did, I don't know.

I noticed today that my calorie goal has changed. I don't know if it's because I lost 2 pounds or because I went from level one to level two, or if it's for some other reason. I'm guessing it's because of the change in level. I don't think it had changed yesterday.

Mainly though, I'd just like to know when to expect these changes to occur. I wasn't expecting it. It wasn't announced. (I would have expected some sort of announcement o... Good Day Sparkers,

Lunch can be much more problematic than breakfast; so, let's share our healthy lunch choices. If you work, preplanning your lunch can be a very effective tool. Planning will help keep you away from the vending machines and fast food. We can each benefit from the posts of others and help other team members at the same time.

1/24

For lunch I am going to have 1/2 a turkey sandwhich on dark whole grain bread, a cup of homemade turkey soup, an... Thu, 24 Jan 2008 11:44:29 EST TRACKING CHANGES This was posted on the Community team threads and I thought you would be interested.

Hello Everyone!

We've made a few changes to our trackers that I wanted to let you know about. The first is that there is a limit of 120 minutes per day that can go towards your SparkAmerica fitness minutes (which is the same as the limit for SparkPoints). If you do more exercise than this you're more than welcome to track it- that additional activity just won't go towards your SA goal. ... Thu, 24 Jan 2008 11:39:42 EST Me Howdy! I am a 39 year old single mum and I love this program! I haven't had time to really dig into the whole website yet but so far I love it. I've tried some of the recipes and my daughter is liking them right along with me.

I have about 115 lbs to lose - blah. I have set myself a goal. If I can lose 2# a week by my 40th birthday (March) I am good to go; if not, I am going to have gastric bypass (my mom has been trying to talk me into it for years). I'd rather do this on m... Thu, 24 Jan 2008 10:34:02 EST Way to rock at working out!!! I don't always look at everything when I click on the main sparkteam page. But I just wanted to point out the number of minutes our team has worked out since the WEEK we've been on here.

1,150,286 minutes.

In one week we have a combined effort that would take one person 2.18 YEARS of non-stop exercise to accomplish (I'm talking 24/7 here).

Pat yourself on the back - and feel free to respond with phrases of congratulations & encouragement to ourselves!!!! Wed, 23 Jan 2008 18:55:49 EST Weight loss related question not really sure where to post this, so Im going to post in general..

historically, whenever I start to loose weight, I get a strange taste in the back of my mouth. Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone know what causes this and if its normal?

Wed, 23 Jan 2008 17:54:34 EST First time posting here. I started my program last Sunday and have been doing great so far. I can definitely tell I'm eating less calories because I am pretty hungry most of the day but I have noticed a big decrease in my heartburn. I take one prevacid every evening but I feel like I might be ok without it now. Guess that's what happens when you're not putting a lot of fat into your body. :0)

I'm so happy to have found this website. I look forward to coming on here everyday and tracking my progress. Wed, 23 Jan 2008 17:08:52 EST Hello From Indiana Hi to all of you. I wanted to do a quick introduction here. I compartmentalize my different needs into specific teams. I don't have a problem creating different focused posts but still I'd like to have all the pieces together without losing the personal contact for these focused areas.

Do you think people read and respond to blogs? I journal in my hard copy diary so don't need to really emote but want to be heard and get some sort of response. Will blogging do that? I am seeing a Dr. for help with my weight loss. I see him once a month for a weigh in. Is there any benefit to weighing myself more often than that? Sun, 20 Jan 2008 16:12:19 EST Can propel water be substituted for "water"? I really enjoy drinking Propel water but not water. Propel has 10 calories per serving and taste great. Sun, 20 Jan 2008 12:41:49 EST How Do You? I will almost never, ever have the same meal plans this site wants me to have. For example, I had a turkey sandwich for lunch.
