SparkPeople Leaving 120-ville Team Messageboard This is a group for everyone that is in the 120s and hoping to stay, or continue on to 110-ville. SparkPeople Leaving 120-ville Team Messageboard What is your biggest challenge Please pose what area you find the most difficult and how you are working to improve.

I find I need structure and do much better during the work week then on the weekends. Also, I live with a husband that is not at all into healthy eating or exercise so that is always a challenge for me. We went grocery shopping together yesterday and he had to buy 4 bags of chips. I need to make sure I can stay out of them.

I will stick to my eating plan this week to make up for my Sund... Mon, 21 Mar 2016 12:44:50 EST So happy to join you It's been about 15 years since I left 120's. This is the second time I've come back from 140's and I intend to stay, for health reasons this time. I started on this downward journey over two years ago with a weight re-gain period sandwiched in between two efforts. My "normal" weight should stay comfortably in the 120's so I'll be looking diligently at what it takes to stay here. Sun, 20 Mar 2016 11:47:12 EST Spring 2016 Goals This Sunday is the official start to Spring. Please share your goal for Spring and let us know how you are doing. I'm going to try to get in 30 minutes of exercise 5 times a week. Hopefully walking outside most days. Since that depends on the weather I will do the Zumba DVD's and Kettlebell swings as a back up.

Fri, 18 Mar 2016 12:59:03 EST Time Management for Working Out Please share your tips for getting a workout in when you have a hectic schedule. I'm striving for 4 hours of exercise a week but it is very difficult.

Lately I've started working out in the morning which helps. I start work at 7 am and have a long commute so I've been able to squeeze in a 30 minute AM work out.

If I have the ability to do so, I will try to add in an evening work out as well.
Wed, 10 Feb 2016 12:31:16 EST Weekend Motivation This past weekend I had a hard time staying motivated. I didn't get in any exercise and eat the wrong things. The Super Bowl played a part in it as I had a party to go to. Today it is back on plan for me.

How do you stay motivated over the weekend? Mon, 8 Feb 2016 12:26:49 EST Just moved in! April 2014 I was previously part of the Leaving 130-ville team...for a long, LONG time. But, for the second week in a row I've been in my 120s, so I thought it was time I moved out of there and into here!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and helping to support each other.

375 Wed, 9 Apr 2014 19:45:03 EST New Plan/Goals! OK, here's the latest in my ever-changing plan:

January

Workouts:
20 minutes of cardio a day
10-15 push-ups and squats
30 leg lifts and crunches

Eating:

Start the process of cutting out gluten and dairy (My son is doing so by doctor's orders, so I've agreed to join him.)

Cut way back on sugar - this may mean throwing out some of these holiday goodies that are constantly taunting me.

Wrap my mind around the idea t... Mon, 6 Jan 2014 16:20:28 EST Feb goal 124 2/6 129.0 Wed, 6 Feb 2013 07:22:00 EST Just Joined this Group Hello everyone. I have really been working at getting my weight to stay in the 120's this winter and I have done pretty well at it so far. I'm going on vacation next month and I would love to get down to 125 or less by then. The eating part hasn't been too bad with a few exceptions here and there. The exercise parts is much harder for me in the winter. Hopefully joining this team will help me to do better in this area. Thanks. Tue, 5 Feb 2013 12:43:21 EST Consume way more calories than I thought I just calculated the amount of calories i consume in my dinner salad (with a tonnn of other things in it) that I eat on a nearly-daily basis. Let's just say it's what I should be eating in two days total. Anyone else have shocking discoveries like this when they began keeping count of calories?
Tue, 18 Dec 2012 00:39:00 EST Arrived and staying! Just got here, reached 128.8, My goal is to maintain by staying between 128-132. Excited to have finally reached my goal! Tue, 27 Mar 2012 14:43:16 EST It's Time to MARCH 4TH!! It seems like we have all got a major case of the Februarys!

So that’s why I am challenging you all to MARCH 4th!

It’s the only day on the calendar that is a command, and it’s commanding you to get back on track!!

Are you happy with your weight? Personally, I’m up two pounds this month and will be happy to see them go. So for the March 4th challenge, decide what your goal weight is – for this month, two months, three months – whatever – and put it HERE in WRIT... Sat, 25 Feb 2012 10:50:45 EST Hi, I just arrived... Hi, my name is Trish. I am new to this team. I started SP on 1/1/11. On 12/17, my birthday, I reached 60 lbs. lost with a WI of 129. 244

See my Spark page for more about me.

Spark on!

Sat, 17 Dec 2011 06:55:10 EST 5'4" & stuck at 125 pounds! Hi,
Just wondering if there's anyone else out there in the same spot and if so, what the plan is to get down from here?

TIPY! Thu, 17 Nov 2011 01:42:59 EST Clothes - where to buy? I'm at 124 lbs, size 4 and am finding it's hard to find clothes that fit well, particularly tops. I get most of my clothes at AT Loft and Banana Republic but am finding their XS/S and even petites fit me strangely. Unless I buy a fitted top (like a sweater), I'm finding any drape-y fabric fits really large on me - not flattering!

Am I the only one with this problem? Where have you had good luck finding clothes for you now-smaller self? Thu, 10 Nov 2011 10:09:15 EST Fluctuations I'm getting close to my goal weight and am wondering if anybody else out there has a day where they eat WAY OVER their recommended calories and doesn't do a lot of exercise that same day, the next day is your weight up? Mine can fluctuate up if I eat within range but just don't "exercise" for a day! I mean every day isn't going to be the same, right? Do you just deal with being say 120 one day and 122 the next or what? Wed, 26 Oct 2011 18:08:48 EST Interesting Body Fat Chart and Goal Weight Formula Check out this Body Fat Chart and scroll down for an interesting formula for determining your goal weight by percentage of body fat lost:

ulator/body-fat-chart.php

I plugged my measurements into their body fat percentage calculator and came out with 25.34%. Sigh. This puts me in the "acceptable" range, while I would rather be in the "fitness" range. :)

But what I found interesting was the calculation unde... Wed, 14 Sep 2011 16:13:50 EST How many calories are you consuming? Last night, my husband was fixing this gargantuan sandwich in the kitchen. On this crazy thick farmer's bread they had just baked at work that day. 5 slices of ham, cheddar cheese, tomato, mayo and mustard.

I looked at this sandwich and said, "If I ate that sandwich, it would probably take up half my calories for the day!" He said there was no way. I guesstimated that it was probably an 800 calorie sandwich. He said, "Yeah, and you're eating, what? 2000 calories a day?" When I told... Fri, 9 Sep 2011 09:06:32 EST The Outskirts of Town I'm finally on the outskirts of town! I've weighed 119 for the last couple of days. Still have a long road ahead of me to reach 110-ville but at least I finally found my way out of 120-ville:)
332 Mon, 4 Jul 2011 23:10:49 EST Hello, new here! Hi everyone! My name is Heather, and I need some help here :) I'm 120 lbs and I can't budge on the scale. I eat about 1500 cals a day, run 3x weekly and strength train. So I am very frustrated! Any support would be much appreciated. Oh yeah, I'm looking for Spark buddies! I've been on Spark people since December and am only just now starting to go on the message boards. Have a great day Mon, 27 Jun 2011 19:24:21 EST Home Sweet Home! Hi I'm Ashley! I've been stuck at 130-131 for about six weeks now, so you can imagine my joy when I hopped on the scale and saw the magic number 1-2-8! My goal weight is 125 (which I believe looks heathly on my 5'8" frame!) and I really hope that my plateau is over for good and I can reach that in the next few weeks or so. After that, its all maintenance!!! Hopefully, 120-ville will remain my new residence! Mon, 27 Jun 2011 13:52:42 EST Age vs. Weight The older I get the harder it gets to lose weight! I'm 45 and losing weight now is sooooo much harder! My daughter is getting married July 30th and I want to lose weight before her wedding. I've lost 5 lbs but need to loose much more. I'm trying to drink 96 ounces of water a day, weighing my food (I cheat on portions if I don't). I'm cutting out almost all bread and starchy foods and increasing my fruit and vegetables. I am also going to pilates 3x a week. It seems like I used to be abl... Sun, 19 Jun 2011 13:38:59 EST Weekly goal Hello! I think it would be helpful for us to have weekly goals goal this week is to get to 127 at least and stay there!! Also to do 200 minutes of exercise. No laziness allowed!! Mon, 13 Jun 2011 07:00:09 EST Confessional- I feel guilty because I.... Hey guys...I always feel better when I can get things off my chest!! So let's start a confessional where we discuss our "bad" ideas for the day!! I'll start....

I feel guilty because I ate a slice of pizza and a glass of wine and didn't make it to the gym today.... :( Tue, 7 Jun 2011 19:36:48 EST I hope I am here for good!! Hi guys!! I have been bordering 130-ville most of the year and I have had ENOUGH!!! I am now at 129 and I would LOVE to get to 120 by the end of the summer. My hubby and I are trying to have kids and I want to be able to lose so I can gain, not gain on top of flab!! I hope to not be borderline for much longer!! Wish me luck!! :) Fri, 3 Jun 2011 21:14:28 EST Team Check in and Captain Quest Hello friends!!

First, I want to apologize for being MIA lately. We have had one heck of a winter here as far as germs go, and between the sicknesses and the traveling, I have not been able to check in with the team (or SP in general) nearly as much as I would like to. SP has helped me to reach my goal, and I was so involved, checking in multiple times a day, etc., but now I have found that l am not able to dot that anymore.

Which leads me to my next topic - captain ques... Sun, 27 Feb 2011 11:41:42 EST new and passing through [ i hope ] hi guys,

weighed in a couple of days ago and i'm finally back in the 120's! very excited. when i started sparkpeople 6 weeks ago i was 140 lbs! it used to be that my normal weight was 124 lbs. which is pretty healthy (i am 5'3"), but even then i wanted to lose at least 10 lbs. and a couple inches from my arms, waist, and thighs. i'm a little nervous... back when i was 124 i used to diet (but didn't exercise consistently, save walking), but i couldn't ever get my weight to drop... Mon, 7 Feb 2011 13:40:29 EST Hope to find the exit soon. So I'm 129, leaving the 120s would be so sweet.
I have dipped into the teens before but only under extreme stress. Now I want to do it for my health and well being. Tue, 25 Jan 2011 22:04:31 EST Do you have a New Year's resolution?? Well the month is almost half over - have you had time to come up with a New Year's resolution?

I don't usually make a resolution, and I'm not officially doing one this year either, but one thing I want to work on is being more PRESENT with my children. My little guy was recently evaluated by a speech therapist, and it made me take a look at myself for a minute... am I really "there" when I'm with him? Am I concentrating on talking to him, explaining stuff to him, engaging him? Or ... Wed, 12 Jan 2011 08:30:14 EST Monthly Challenge for December! Hi friends!

I hope you will join me in this month's challenge!

December’s challenge is:

1 – Do something new this month! Try a new Spark recipe, try a new work-out DVD, incorporate a new strength move, try a new route on your run – anything! Then tell us about it here.

2 – Exercise at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes or more. I know some of you are doing far more than this, so this goal should be easy to check off your list. But some of us need ... Wed, 1 Dec 2010 11:30:01 EST Your winter motivation! I don't know about you, but I find I need a little more motivation to maintain good eating and exercise habits in the winter. It's not just the holidays, but the weather and the temptation of comfort. If it's cold outside, it's harder to climb out of a warm bed in the morning to hit the streets running. And the warm, cozy, fill-me-up food and drink temptations seem a whole lot more comforting than that cold spinach salad that got me through the summer.

Do you have any tricks, thoug... Wed, 1 Dec 2010 11:20:26 EST Product, Recipe and Book Reviews Have you tried something new lately? A new fitness product or exercise program? Another, random non-fitness related product? Read a new book? Tried a new Spark recipe? A new Android or iPhone app?

Well, what did you think? Give us your review!

Wed, 1 Dec 2010 11:11:30 EST 120-Ville Set List What's your favorite exercise song? What really gets you going, or makes time fly by a little faster? I bet we can get quite the list going here, and give each other some ideas for new songs to add to our own set lists.

I listen to Pandora when I'm out running, and I'll admit that one of the songs I like to run to is:

Brittney Spears' "If U Seek Amy"

I know, I know. It's a ridiculous song. For whatever reason, it works for me. :) Wed, 1 Dec 2010 10:42:12 EST My SparkSummary Calendar Hi all. Just noticed there's a fantastic calendar on my (your) home page and thought I'd share. It's on the left side of your start page, underneath your goals.

track-calendar.asp
Sun, 29 Aug 2010 08:53:46 EST Hi! Hi everyone!
I can`t believe I am finally here in 120-ville. I weighed in this morning at 129 lbs and I am so excited that my hard work is paying off! All the long runs, hours on elliptical, weight training and of course eating right.
My final goal is to reach 115 lbs, but I might stay in the low 120`s if I feel comfortable at this weight. Tue, 22 Jun 2010 18:19:07 EST First Time Here? I have never been in the 120s in my adult life. I was always in the upper 130s in high school and I could just never get the number down. I'm excited to finally be here.

I was just wondering, how many of you have been in the 120s before and are trying to get back, and how many are like me, and have never been here before. Mon, 31 May 2010 11:33:40 EST Finally!!! I haven't been in the 120s for my whole adult life so I was shocked to see 129 on the scale this morning. I was just at Disney World from May 14-23 and I worked really hard so I wouldn't gain weight, but I never though I would actually lose weight too! I am down 3.1 pounds from the 14th.

I am really hoping to get to 120 or possibly lower. My short term goal is just to get to 125 and I will continue from there. Wed, 26 May 2010 20:52:54 EST Hi! Hi Everyone! I thought I'd post a note to say hello. I actually want to lose the 10-15 lbs I've gained in the past year and a half or so . Before now, I've always eaten whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and now it doesn't seem to be so easy. I work out regularly, but keep hearing "diet is 80%" and I guess that MUST be where I am going wrong. I am just not used to feeling hungry, and with working out regularly and working insanely long hours at the office, I feel like I "deserve" to eat wh... Mon, 17 May 2010 22:57:18 EST Happy to be in the 120s! Hey, new to the team but been on spark for a little over a year. I'm a runner and love to workout but my appetite is insatiable/i love sweets and carbs. The nutrition tracker has helped me a lot recently and I'm glad to have finally broke the 130 barrier. 224 Ultimate goal is to maintain somewhere between a lean 118 and 120 which for my height would be perfect! Sun, 24 Jan 2010 18:43:49 EST Just Me Hi, I'm only 4'10" and need to leave 120-ville to even get into my weight range. I shouldn't weigh more than 118. At first I thought it would be no problem - I started at 123 and didn't think I'd be in the 120s long enough to join this team BUT its been 3 1/2 weeks and I've not officially (on weigh-in day) been under 120. Even if I make it below I'm beginning to think it will be difficult to stay under 120. Anyway, I'm hoping other 120ers will have suggestions and support since we're all ... I know a lot of woman would kill for this problem. Only cuz they don't have it! I honestly have no butt! he more I exercise the smaller it gets. AND THAT"S NOT WHERE I NEED TO LOSE!! Anybody have my problem? I can't join a gym and have bad knees. Can anyone help me? PLEASE!!! Sat, 16 Jan 2010 02:40:32 EST Hi! Hi. I'm Jen, and I'm 5' 0", and currently weight 129.4. I've lost 4.6 pounds in the last week since rejoining SP (go me, right?!). But the problem I run into is that since my goal is 114 pounds (possibly moving it down to 108), if I actually tell anyone that goal, they look at me like I'm crazy and just spouting that number to be vain and get attention. They don't get that because of my height and because I'm built pretty tiny, anything over 114 and I really do look pretty chunky. One of... Sat, 9 Jan 2010 08:44:46 EST Hi everyone! I think that this just might be a great group for me... I am 5 ft and 1/4 in and keep bouncing between 115 and 125. 110 is my goal. When I 're-joined' (meaning I joined Sparkpeople a while ago but am active only as of a few months ago) I was at 123. I'm going to weigh myself on New Year's Eve and hit the ground running. I'm not yet using Sparkpeople to it's full advantage, I'm still getting into understanding the stages and what not, but, I'll take all the motivation I can get. At the end of ... Mon, 28 Dec 2009 15:18:02 EST So Glad to find this group Oh my gosh I'm sooo glad to find this team. I've been thinking of starting a team of my own. I really need help staying fit and staying committed. The goal of getting under 120 really helps me stay on track. Thanks for the group! Sun, 8 Nov 2009 11:55:16 EST 5'1"--120's Are No Fun Just joined the other day. As the subject says, I'm 5'1" and for me, at 123, that's quite a lot. My goal is to get to 110, although it will take a lot of work to get there. I truly would be happy with 115. I've been here since August 1st, haven't lost any weight (well, I kind of yo-yo from 123 to 121 and back to 123), but I have lost a total of 2 inches.

My guide tells me I'm an "Avocado", which means most of my weight is in my midsection and hips. Just a year ago, I was tightening... Mon, 28 Sep 2009 19:52:58 EST Hoping to hit the 110's very soon Hello, I am not new to this site but have a new profile for a fresh start. I have been trying to get to 115 for several years now without success, wavering between 122 and the dreaded 130. Hoping to get there on this journey and stay there. I am 28, recently married and have a small-boned, 5'2" frame, which is why I have that goal weight. I love to be active (running, pilates, yoga, dancing and on and on) but I love gourmet food and my husband is a terrific cook. Trying to find the righ equal... Thu, 10 Sep 2009 16:35:52 EST Scale or not to scale? I want to know what you think. I haven't gotten on a scale in a while. I can guess what I weigh by the way my clothes fit, but I won't really know progress until I get on the scale. However, the scale makes me a little nuts. A bad weigh can ruin my day. What do you do? How often do you weigh or do you go my measurements or the "zipper test" (how your clothes fit? Thu, 10 Sep 2009 16:25:23 EST Hi! I'm New Here! My goal is 115, I think (I'll see when I get close), but I'm definitely leaving the 120s.

Right now I'm losing about a pound a week, so hopefully I'll be out of here in 2 months. I've been a Sparker for over 2 years now, and had alway been hovering at the 132 mark. I then went on a work trip to London (hello booze!!) and came back topping the scales at 139. I then vowed tht I had to get into shape, and here I am 6 months later weighing in at 128. My ulitmate goal is 120 lbs by my March 28th wedding. Hello! I'm Adrienne. I'm 38, married and a mom to my little 3-year-old princess...I work full-time and am also in the Air National Guard, so I have a very busy life!

I'm 5'2" and, before I became pregnant, I weighed in at around 110-115. I'd always been the skinny girl who could eat anything and not exercise that everyone hated until I turned about 25. Before then, my weight ranged from 90-105. Then, when my metabolism slowed down, I got up to about 125 and stayed there for a coupl... Thu, 21 Aug 2008 16:23:56 EST Hi, I'm New... Saw this team on a members page and decided to join. I have not been under 120 pounds in about 5 yrs. I workout at least 4 days a week and have already lost almost 4 pounds, but still on my journey to lose more. Wish me luck and God Bless! Tue, 8 Jul 2008 19:37:54 EST how do you know leaving is right for you? I have a question I'd like to see discussed: How do you know leaving is right for you?

I am struggling with leaving 120-ville, and I mean REALLY struggling - I feel like I'm doing almost all I can to get out of here but for the past couple of months I've been stuck here in the middle and I'm wondering if I should even be trying to get below 120 anyway. It seems like my body may want to just stay here, even though I'm not as thin as I thought I'd like to be (for my height).
<B... Mon, 7 Jul 2008 14:47:54 EST Newbie Yup, short girl here looking to leave the 120's and hopefully hit 115 before the end of the summer. I am hoping that this shedding of a few extra pounds will help my speed while running. I can't seem to get myself below 120 but I am carefully watching my calories in vs. calories burned and hopefully will finally make some progress.

Amy Tue, 17 Jun 2008 13:57:53 EST What are doing to get out of 120 ville? I feel like my last 10 pounds will never come off...what is everyone doing to loose those hard to loose pounds? Fri, 6 Jun 2008 14:17:39 EST Novice in the group, Professional in the range Hello all,
I just joined SparkPeople this week! I am very new to everything but I have been 'stuck' in the 120s for as long as I can remember. Every time I do hit the low to mid-teens I feel fabulous, but it never lasts. I want to say GOOD-BYE to the 120s for good and finally balance out at my dream/goal weight. It is going to be very hard, especially because I get bored with exercise VERY easily, but if I can do it I know it will be worth it! Thu, 29 May 2008 12:23:17 EST GAME: True or False We played this game in 140-ville and for a while in 130-ville, and I thought it was a great way to get to know one another a little bit better. I thought I'd post it here and see if anybody in 120-ville wanted to play!

Each person makes a statement about the next person to post (Yep, without knowing who it will be). That person will answer your statement with TRUE or FALSE and make a new statement for the next poster to reply to.

I'll start.

The person above m... Mon, 12 May 2008 23:07:49 EST Just moved in to town... The scale says 129.8, so it looks like I'm on my way out of 130-ville and into 120-ville! Mon, 12 May 2008 22:08:24 EST Body Fat Okay, so I'm not quite in the 130s or 120s yet, but I will be in a couple of months. I am losing weight at a very healthy rate, consume a lot of protein, do cardio, and lift weights 3x per week. I feel like I don't lose much body fat. I think i lost .05% since last week, but 2-3 pounds. I am afraid of losing muscle. I don't know if 120 is a good goal for me when I have so much body fat. Should I lower it down to 110? Mon, 12 May 2008 11:18:05 EST Teetering on the high end... pull me back down...
I haven't adjusted my ticker and I have to say it's not accurate. I weighed in today at 128.5...yikes!!! I hope it's just water or something!!! Thu, 1 May 2008 13:55:21 EST Hello! (^_^) Hi! I just joined the team! I've been in the 120 range since my freshman year of college (I'm just finishing my junior year). I was 110 before that, and am sad that college made me gain so much weight. But SparkPeople is really helping me change my life and learn new healthy habits! My goal weight is 100 (I'm only 5'0). I'm leaving the states for Tanzania next week, and we'll be camping and going on safari and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and doing all sorts of active stuff, so I'm hoping... Mon, 28 Apr 2008 16:12:55 EST new to 120s Just added some teams to my sparkpage. I am normally in the 120s but when I binge I hit the 130s. I had my first binge today since I entered SP and thought I need to be more active. I did not do my food intake for today.. taking the day off, fresh start tomorrow. My name is Carrie. I am looking to be around 115 soonish. I want to look good this summer. The last 10 pounds is the hardest. Any advice ? Sparkmail me Sat, 26 Apr 2008 20:01:47 EST New to 120-ville Hi, I am new to Leaving 120-ville. I have been at about 128.5 for the last year and cannot seem to get out of it. I was sick in December and went to 125 and for the last month or so I have been retaining water and I keep bouncing from 129.5 to 131.5. I just started really counting calories and working out for an hour every morning at 5am this last two weeks. Hopefully I will finally make my goal of 111 with the help of this website! Fri, 25 Apr 2008 20:19:33 EST chills? Does anyone else notice that you feel colder more often now that you weigh less?

When I was in the 150s and 160s I used to feel warm much of the time. When most other women claimed they were chilly (inside, outside, wherever) I would just be like "Oh, those weenies" and when they turned up the heat inside, I would just get warmer. I also used to sweat a lot more, and the pits of my shirts were always stained.

But ever since I got into the 130s and less, now I get cold mu... Thu, 24 Apr 2008 14:02:05 EST NEW to 120-Ville Hi, everyone, I'm new to 120-Ville and VERY excited to be here.

I couldn't believe it when the scale said 129 this morning - I haven't been in the 120s since I don't know, 8th grade? I weighed 140 when I was 15 and I've been in the 160s since college - until I started SP, that is.

I know my goal says "120" but I'm pretty sure that I want to eventually leave 120-Ville and stay permanently in the 110s. It's hard to know what my "happy" weight is because I've hever weighed ... Thu, 24 Apr 2008 10:50:08 EST I'm really in the 120s! I've been stuck at 129/128.5 for about a month, and I've stayed with the 130ville group, I guess because I kept getting worried that I would bounce back up into the 130s. Well, that hasn't happened, but I don't seem to be moving lower in the 120s. I'm wondering if it is my attitude...

So, today I am officially considering myself in the 120s! I'm hoping you 120-villers can give me a kick in the butt and help me move through this town.

G
Mon, 21 Apr 2008 10:42:12 EST Just joined the group! Hi, I'm new to this group! My name is Maddy and I'm 21, and 4'11"...this height issue is tough, because I feel like every half pound on me is noticeable. I'm looking to shed about 20 lbs total(to get to 108), but I'm first looking to get myself out of the 120's.
I've had some trouble with motivation lately, but you guys seem to be really consistent, so I'm going to post on this page and I expect to get a yelling at if I'm not around for a while. ;)

Do any of you still live with you parents? ... Hi

I joined this group because any time SOON I'll be leaving the 120 pounds - finally-. Right now I am 121 as you see in the scale below, after gaining almost 8 pounds since last October and struggling to loss on my own but with no results. Now I'm following Nutrisystem program.

213 Mon, 11 Feb 2008 15:08:58 EST Cardio vs. Weight Training I love to weight train but HATE doing cardio. Anyone else feel this way? What are your thoughts on just doing weights? Tue, 5 Feb 2008 18:45:03 EST Hi Hi. I've been a member of SP for awhile but have just started really using it this year. So far I am down 2 pounds! I'm a 39 year old SAHM, happily married for almost 18 years to my high school sweetheart. We have two beautiful children, son 15, daughter 13.

I'm 5'3" and want to get down to possibly 116-118. I'm headed in the right direction, hopefully I won't get lost along the way.

Looking forward to "meeting" you all.

Cheri 213 Sat, 2 Feb 2008 08:46:52 EST just joined! I havn't been at this weight since 7 years ago. I am a short 5"1", and would love to be at 117 or maybe 115. This group seems like the perfect motivation for me. Sun, 20 Jan 2008 09:57:10 EST Newbie Hi everyone! I'm new here and very proud to say I'm now in the 120s! I haven't been at this weight in at least 5 years, but I can't say I haven't been trying.

I'm about average height with a small frame. My ticker goal of 110 is the smallest I'd want to be based on BMI. Based on my scale's body fat measurements, I'd be around 111-112 at 15% body fat. Since I'll probably gain muscle with the strength training, I'll probably settle somewhere higher.

Anyways, looking... Sun, 13 Jan 2008 09:35:26 EST My Shopping experience yesterday!
I finally started my Christmas Shopping yesterday and since I hadn't been shopping in a long time because of school. I ended up buying tons of stuff for myself! I was at a store called Nine West and I tried on a beautiful winter jacket in a size XS! I couldn't believe that it fit so well! I went to the salesman just to make sure and he said that it was the perfect size. ( I was even wearing a sweater underneath!) I asked to try on the size small just to be sure and it was too big, it b...
