I have wide feet and am an UNDER pronator, meaning I turn my ankles outwards, wearing the outsides of my shoes. I have never spent real money on a pair of shoes in my life, but now I guess I'd better! I have hurt the distal portion of my right fibula and the proximal portion of my right 5th metatarsal - both of which suggest I need more support on the outside edges of my shoes and can't just buy whatever is on sale anymore. I finished my first 5k in December and continued running in January into February, two days on the treadmill, one day outside. But starting in mid-February I just haven't felt like running. I am really getting down on myself and I really WANT to get back to running but I'm just not managing to get myself out the door. I am really hoping to find something that will help. Any ideas?
