I am going to be wearing this during the classes I teach and thought it would be a non serious way to point out who the teacher was, lol.

Jen Tue, 17 Jun 2008 22:15:00 EST So what kinds of things do you like to embroider? I was just thinking of some more collections for my store, and I thought I'd ask and see what you gals like to embroider?

Lately I personally have been really into embroidering "story" blocks. I call them story blocks, because their more of an illustration that can have a personal, or fond meaning.

Jen Sat, 24 May 2008 14:37:11 EST Woo Hoo! Let's Stitch! Hey Smallish group!

I am an embroidery peep too!

I was excited to find an embroidery forum to join, all be it small, it makes no difference. Hi, my name is Georgia. I live in western PA near Pittsburgh. I love to embroider, but am not crazy about cross stitching. It's very hard to find anything that isn't a cross stitch kit--so I generally make my own designs from old embroidery books I find on eBay--or anywhere else I can. I used to embroider when I was very young and then after I started my family I found I just didn't have the time to embroider anymore. Well are you?

213 Fri, 23 Nov 2007 11:14:55 EST New to Embroidery Hi, I'm new to embroidery but I just love it. I tried to digitize some pictures with automatic digitizing but now I know that it is highly complicated when the picture has any gradient. It is very hard to find beautiful pictures without gradients, so maybe I will draw my own designs or go for the manual digitizing software. Anyway I love to search beautiful embroidery designs. Tue, 6 Nov 2007 14:55:00 EST Embroidery Floss??? I mainly embroider with floss and all different kinds of stitches. I am currently working on a "Birth Record" for our new grandchild. It is quite detailed and has 8 different stitches.

Can anyone help me find a store that sells embroidery kits OTHER than cross stitch. I recently went to one store than was just embroidery and all they had was cross stitch kits. To me those are so boring. I like to do a variety of stitches.

Hoping to hear from some enthusiasts soon... Tue, 18 Sep 2007 23:00:34 EST HARK!!! Embroidery Enthusiasts This team is for all who love to embroidery. It gives us something to do with our hands, instead of eating. I find it especially useful when I'm watching TV and all those DOGGONE FOOD COMMERCIALS come on and make one think they're hungry just by looking at them. You can also save money by embroidering gifts for people at any time of the year.

Sun, 16 Sep 2007 20:40:11 EST
