Now that my sister and I are older (she's 17, I'm 22), my mom trusts us to build the house(s). This year I'm building a little village with a colonial style house, a chapel, and a farm. What's your favorite holiday ... Thu, 18 Dec 2008 21:54:28 EST Howdy from Texas! Hey everyone. I thought it was about time to introduce myself to the team. Thu, 21 Aug 2008 22:23:45 EST Tips to being the BEST teacher!!!! I am reading the most amazing book and I had to share it with my future teacher SparkFriends. It's called "How to Talk so Kids can Learn" by Faber and Mazlish. It is out of this world!!! It's a very easy and quick read (only 266 pages and it's all in narrative or FAQ form along with pictures and cartoons). I would HIGHLY recommend it to any teacher or parent of a child (any age). I got my copy pretty cheap from amazon. It points out communication techinques and skills that a lot of adults use...
