She asks that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to deal with these injuries and go on to have surgery. <BR> Thank you, <BR> Lauren Sat, 27 Aug 2011 18:37:28 EST Check in April http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x12721x40928666 Hi All! <BR> <BR> Hope everyone has been doing well! I have succeeded in reaching my goal of being able to do it at all, but now I want to build up my stamina and be able to work out on it 3 times a week and not be in pain. Wed, 27 Oct 2010 15:02:09 EST What/who motivates you daily? http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x12721x37571136 I have found that keeping a small goal in mind helps me out. I could not use the elliptical that I had my hubby buy for me and it sat for a year! When I finally got the all clear from the doctor to exercise again after a broken bone in my foot my goal was to be able to work out on the elliptical and my first goal was to be able to do it for 10 minutes. Once I reached that goal I upped it to 15 minutes. Now I can do it for an hour! It killed my knees trying but I finally succeeded! My husband has health issues that don't allow him to drive, so I have to take him wherever he needs to go. It is so hard to find the time to look after myself.
