Not the amount of weight we want to lose, not the exercise, not the water, and not the calories....but setting a goal of doing one thing for us not diet related. My goal for the next week is set a vacation budget that will be easy to stick to...I have to live for the next month and a half of 1500...taking care of Abbie... Thu, 7 Feb 2013 23:52:06 EST January's Monthly Challenege This month has a two part challenge to it. There are two things we all do at the beginning of a new year. Two goals/resolutions that so many people set. lose weight and to get organized. Well we have all been working on the weight so instead of making is a goal or resolution, let's reenlist. Our Significant Others do it or have the option of doing it every few years, they recommit to the Army. Our reenlistment is to our weight loss. Once you have reenlisted lets see ... Thu, 3 Jan 2013 09:13:22 EST Dec challenge week 5 12/27-1/3/13 12/27-01/3:Whew made it through everyone wants to make New Years Resolutions. I made one 8 years and I have stuck to it. I resolved to never make another New Years Resolution. So this year I urge you to set a major goal, write it down and stick it somewhere and in July, find it and see if you completed or are working on the goal. Instead of making a resolution that will get tossed aside in a few weeks.

***I am doing a blog of these later today. Thu, 27 Dec 2012 10:14:17 EST Questions of the day.... I enjoy doing them and the responses are great but until we get through the holidays...some of us are moving, some are busy with family, and with husbands on half days or leave and kids home all day for the moms that have kids in school....I am going to start them back up on January 2nd. When the guys are gone all day, kids are back in school, and the holiday stuff is done. This gives me time to find some really good ones to talk about. I also am working on some really good stuff for our J... Fri, 21 Dec 2012 10:09:51 EST Dec challenge week 4 12/20-12/27: Almost made it through the holidays right? It is cottage cheese, jello, cool whip, marchino cherries, pineapple, and madrian oranges all mixed together. Thu, 13 Dec 2012 10:34:06 EST Movers Just had my 1st experience this Monday with movers for my 1st PCS! It was ok, they were nice and courteous - but we had stuff at my inlaws where I am living and then the rest of our things were in a storage unit. They had to unpack and repack EVERYTHING in the unit. I understand why, but it made a loooonnngggg day since I had to be there!! Wish I had brought myself a book to read.. It's always less intimidating to try new things with someone else. :) Sun, 26 Apr 2009 23:56:44 EST Hi from soon to be Ft, Campbell I am new to this group but not to the military. My husband has been in for 13 years and we have been married 12. We were high school sweethearts with no one in the family military. It has truly been an experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast at the gym and I really do feel stronger. I just wish that I could see a difference on the scale or... My friend told me that I should try to get more involved in the Team discussions so here I am. I have been struggling a lot the past couple of days, as my husbands deployment draws closer. This is my first one and I am getting scared. I really only have one good friend here, but she is just as scared as I am, and I find myself trying to be strong for her. Meanwhile I feel myself crumbling a little bit inside. I... Fri, 15 Feb 2008 02:25:48 EST Challenge -- 2/11-2/17 -- YES WE CAN! Mon, 11 Feb 2008 15:02:15 EST Organic Foods? I have recently begun purchasing foods that are organic like fruits and vegetables, cereal, granola, crackers and peanut butter. I'm not sure if you have ever been into an all organic food store, but some of the items they have are wonderful, and some things not so appealing, and the prices are some what high. Do you really think its worth it? Is it really healthier?

Anyway, I would just like some input on how many of you actually buy organic foods and what you have found to be de...
