Yesterday I could only do five minutes on the elliptical. But today I breezed through twenty minutes. I breezed through my weight workout and even set a personal best record. If we don't get discouraged with the downs in our workout routines, then the ups are that much more rewarding. Who else is on the chat tonight. Thu, 19 Dec 2013 20:23:28 EST On the scale again I've always fought to keep my weight contained, but in the past ten years (since menopause) my weight has steadily increased until I weighed 246 pounds. Having to get one knee replaced made me aware that I really needed to start losing weight again, but it wasn't until I saw the words "morbidly obese," on the recap sheet from my doctor during a regular checkup. 46

So, I've made a lifestyle change that has been working. I've gone Paleo. Granted, I am having some stops a... Wed, 18 Dec 2013 18:47:48 EST Here I go again! After losing 35#; I've slowly slipped back into my old habits (diet soda instead of H2O, DQ Blizzards, etc.). I've gained 7# that I had lost. I've slipped back into the 200 range. Yesterday, my heart arrythmia acted up again (1st time in about a year). I'm trying to jump back onto the wagon. You'd think that I've proved to myself that this has to be an ongoing lifestyle rather than a temporary stop. Mon, 16 Dec 2013 10:30:07 EST I am new here!!! I am new here to make the transition to a healthier lifestyle with proper nutrition and exercise. I don't plan for a quick fix solution to a weight loss. Please join me for the support!!! Thu, 12 Dec 2013 09:53:25 EST Leslie J I have tried many diet plans and in 15 years only lost a total of 20 pounds! I am hoping Sparkpeople will be the last plan I need.
