I might have some questions in the next couple days as I continue to look around and figure out how everything works and any tips so thanks in advance. Tue, 22 Jul 2014 12:58:54 EST Totally lost here.. I am Galicia, and this is my first day on Sparks and feeling a little lost :( Would love to find some friends! Mon, 21 Jul 2014 20:18:26 EST Why a New Team Isn't Necessarily Good I joined this team, because my old team of having 25-50 pounds to lose no longer applies to me. In all my years as a member of SparkPeople, I've really only participated about 1% of the time. (That's a guess, but I bet it's accurate!) I hit an all-time high weight earlier this month, because I pretty much gave up on myself. But I'm back, and I am actually going to participate in communities this time. I AM glad to be here, even though it was not a source of pride that I have this much weight ... Mon, 21 Jul 2014 13:59:36 EST Hi and help!!? Hi everyone. I'm new to Sparkle People today. My story is similar to many others, I'm sure. I've been overweight since birth and have tried every diet known to womankind since as long as I can remember.

But this time is different because I am on a spiritual journey to free myself of all emotional and spiritual baggage and getting healthy is a natural by-product instead the primary goal. I'm so excited to have reconnected with SparkPeople. It has evolved greatly since... Tue, 3 Jun 2014 00:38:45 EST Coasterqueen 68 I have tried so many diets (Weight Watchers,Atkins,SouthBeach,Etc..) The first two were way back in the past when I thought carrying 10 extra pounds was horrible. Now, I am 44 and after 2 late in life babies, new food restrictions, a destroyed thyroid, and gall bladder that was so enlarged with stones it was visible from my rib cage that it had to be removed, I am close to 60 pounds away from my old target weight of 120 pounds. I'm not even sure I'll ever be able be that slim again, but I have to shoot for something. <BR... Mon, 2 Jun 2014 18:50:04 EST Hello all! My name is Lace. I'm on day 7 of my clean eating lifestyle. I know I'm going to need all the support I can get. I have a lot of medical issues and food restrictions, so it's not only ideal for me to stick to a clean diet, every bite I take that isn't "clean" is slowly killing me, and some how, even knowing that doesn't make it all that much easier.. sort of like a smoker and that one cigarette...

At any rate, I'd love more friends here. I look forward to getting to know y'... Mon, 2 Jun 2014 08:35:47 EST New start, new me This is my second REAL go-round on SparkPeople. The first time, I lost 85 pounds. Now, many years, a new marriage (fantastic!), three miscarriages, a broken ankle, an unwanted job change and major depression later (the last few things all in the last two years), I've regained what I had lost and more. So I cancelled my original SP account and am starting over from scratch.

I've done it before, so I know I can do it again. I'm looking forward to finding the same support and friendl... Sun, 1 Jun 2014 12:21:12 EST Here I am.. AGAIN Long story short, life gets to all of us. I've had some health related issues (Thyroid) and stress in my RL that lead me on a self destruction.
