Wed, 25 May 2016 09:38:47 EST Trying again I'm 33, and trying to lose at least a 100 lbs. The last time I tried Sparkpeople was in 2010. So much has changed in my life since then, I've gotten divorced, and engaged again. My ex and I didn't have kids, my fiance has three, and it's filled a big part of what was missing in my life. I want to help them be healthier, set a good example for them, and help make sure I'm around for them as long as possible. My willpower and motivation tends to be very lacking. And I'm definitely scared of fai... Being fairly new to this, and having not worked out since I was in high school (20 years ago!) I am starting out real slow and walking either outside on nice days or on the treadmill. I was wondering what others were doing for their workouts. I need ideas for when I graduate from just walking. Tue, 17 May 2016 13:41:40 EST Restarting again Hi everyone! I am once again restarting this journey and making myself a priority after 3 extremely difficult years. I am homeschooling my kids and trying to show them that being healthy is more than a number on a scale. Tue, 17 May 2016 09:18:41 EST Hi, new here..... I am 33 and have been stuck in a rut for the last 10 years or so. I gained weight after high school, lost some before my wedding and now 6 years after having my daughter I am still holding on to baby weight plus some.

I have such a hard time with motivation even though I am miserable and hate the way that I look. I am an emotional eater so that doesn't help.
Mon, 16 May 2016 13:57:41 EST Weigh In Starting Weight: 223lbs (03/16)
05/09/16: 213lbs
05/16/16: 211.6

Started training again, 7 years later, to run my first half marathon this December.
A goal to help me stay on track :) Mon, 16 May 2016 10:38:19 EST Looking for accountability Hi! My main issue is not the weight. I have 183 pounds at a height of 5'3". I love my curves, BUT with exercises they would look much better 334
And if I would lose some pounds and get healthier as a side effect, that's even better 9

Have a great weekend,
Melanie Sat, 7 May 2016 08:46:47 EST Too big for massage? I woke up this morning with a massive knot in my neck/shoulder area. So bad I can barely move my head, so I did the sensible thing. I called Massage Envy and managed to get an appointment tonight while my girls are in Taekwondo. I was thrilled by my luck. They actually had an open appointment. Then a few mins went by and I I too big for the table? Will they be able to get through my fat rolls to make a difference? Will they want to? How mortifying is this going to be? Any other ... Fri, 6 May 2016 15:58:58 EST Calorie tracking Hello all! I have been tracking my calories for almost two weeks now and have been doing really well with keeping right around my intake goal. I know that too few calories will stall weight loss and too many is part of what got me in the shape I'm in now ;) My question for you is what do you do when you add in exercise? I know some people eat more to still stay in the suggested range, but others don't. Yesterday I added in an hour of cardio and according to my calorie tracker I was WAY under... Fri, 6 May 2016 10:59:13 EST back again!!! Needed a break from everything, but am back again and ready to get it done. I have 65 lbs to go. Ended up in the hospital for a few wks and that wasn't any fun. During my stay there I found out that i am diabetic. So i'm here to lose the extra weight that I have and to maintain my diabetes. 41 Thu, 5 May 2016 14:01:36 EST DAY 1: Starting Over....For real this time! Two weeks ago, on May 14th, I told my husband that it was over. There was a lot of stuff going on that I never should have allowed to go on for so long. When I saw how much it really was affecting my kids, I knew it was time to quit being a pushover, and to quit being naïve and to really put my foot down and stand up for myself for once. I had fallen out of love with him a long, long time ago, but I was always feeling like I HAD to suck it up and deal with it. Then like I said, I saw just how... Mon, 2 May 2016 13:13:31 EST Quick Question about site settings Hey all,

I was looking over my daily calorie allowance for the day and saw that it's attached to the amount of exercise I do in a day. It says if I work out more I am allowed to eat more calories. I am trying to track a daily deficit, so when I start working out my numbers will change? Is there a way to stop them from changing?

I followed the link and it said that it was the old way of tracking and new members after 2013 can't change? Did I read that right or am I total... Fri, 29 Apr 2016 15:43:25 EST Monopoly? Hi! I joined a couple of weeks ago and I am interested in participating in the monopoly challenge. What are the rules? I fell off for some time now, especially since last summer when I had an ankle injury.

My original journey started in January 2013 at 290lbs. My summer of 2014, I was down to 225 and then sort of got stuck around there. Mon, 18 Apr 2016 20:52:43 EST Low Calorie diet Hi all, I started at a boot camp workout center and they supplied me with a meal plan. It is very restrictive; I am to eat the same 5 meals everyday for 4 weeks. I think I can do it but once I added up the total calories it came to about 1038. Is this okay to do? I have message my Dr. to get their input but wanted to get some quick feedback.
Let me know what you think. Mon, 18 Apr 2016 11:16:35 EST trying again. I am Misty. I need to fit in these size 2 jeans.")

I'm in my mid-30s, live alone, fight my own willpower, and am here for the 2nd time. The first tim... Mon, 29 Feb 2016 15:20:38 EST new girl Hi. A few years back I went from 210lbs to 145 lbs in 6 months thanks to logging in exercise and food on here and doing 21 Day Fix and Shakeology. Well.... time, life, kids (a million other reasons), I am back up to 199lbs. I am 38 and needing to rid this 60lbs for GOOD! I had a hysterectomy 3 months ago and the weight is piling on. Hi I am a 32F and for the past three years I have let myself "go". I have always been on the heavier side my whole life , but I was involved in sports so it never really got bad. Had my daughter and stayed in an emotional roller coaster of a relationship for 6 years, which didn't help . Got out of it and got comfortable in a relationship and gained some weight. Got put on a medication that caused me to gain some weight also. This year I will be turning 33 and I want to start this year of my ... She is my reason for deciding to make better choices. The last thing I want to do is teach her bad habits by example. I have never been small but was always so active that I could eat whatever I wanted. Then after I got pregnant I was put on bed rest half way through. So, on top of the bad eating habits I had I now wasn't able to get up very m... I actually joined this website a few years ago but never actually followed through with anything, but this time is definitely different. I started this year as the heaviest I have EVER been, but I'm going to end the year by getting to my goal weight. I'll need lots of support and good vibes which is why I'm hoping this site will cheer me along my journey.

I'm using weight watchers, which is really helping me fi... Sat, 20 Feb 2016 15:09:57 EST Unhealthy family... any advice? I was a working mom up until exactly one week ago. Then I was hospitalized, and was released from the hospital yesterday. I am now a SAHM since I quit my job, and I just realized how horribly we have been eating. How did I just realize this? I mean, I buy fruit and veggies, and we barely ever eat out. But, we snack a lot, I cook a lot of rice, pastas and sandwiches because it's fast and easy after a long and tiring workday; and if we do eat out or order pizza, I don't portion control any... Fri, 19 Feb 2016 08:24:33 EST New lifestyle! Hi gang. I just rejoined SparkPeople after a long hiatus. This is my first day back at it, and so far I feel pretty good. However, here is my dreaded beginning number, recorded last night:

2/15/16: 240

There it is. I'm not doing an "ultimate goal" weight yet because really, my ultimate goal is to be healthy and happy, and I'm afraid setting a particular number right away might discourage me. Mon, 8 Feb 2016 11:00:55 EST Hello Sparkers! I'm ready to start again. I'm 38 and glad to be here. I was on Spark a few years ago and managed to lose 50+ lbs. I felt great and even ran a couple half marathons. Then I started to get complacent and didn't log in to Spark regularly because I was a "success story." I started graduate school and stopped exercising regularly. I found it was too easy to fall back into old habits, and here I am again obese and winded after climbing 1 flight of stairs. I'm a bit older than I was the last time I did this. This puts me into my 30s now, and on a new team of peers. I'm 33 and I am at the heaviest I've ever been in my life. My metabolism greatly slowed down and my eating habits got worse after that once I turned 30. Hello Fellow Sparkers! I am stepping out of my comfort zone to look for support, friendship, and motivation. I have been "trying" to lose weight for a very long time. I have had some success but plenty more "not-so-much-success". I have reached the heaviest weight and I want it to stop. I know the plan and have the tools, I just need the motivation and tenacity to keep up the work. Looking forward (rather nervously) to meet you all. I went from an "always moving, on the go" position at work ... Mon, 30 Nov 2015 16:25:34 EST How do you all deal? I am struggling with mentally catching up to my physical changes. I am grateful to notice wonderful changes on a daily basis and so glad to be on my way to where I feel healthiest. However, I am definitely in a transition stage: it feels like my body isn't mine and it is hard adjusting to it all. Just like my clothes are too big and don't fit right, my body no long feels like it 'fits' right and it is so weird. Can anybody relate and if so, how do you deal with it? My health has just gotten out of control and I need to get a grasp on it. With the help of sparkpeople and my doctors I really hope to meet my goals and get my health back in check. Hey howdy there,

I really need some advice on facial hair (yeah, that thing we as a gender don't have according to the outside world). I have tried and failed many times before this so any insight on how to keep the motivation going would be GREATLY appreciated. Goal for the year is to lose 30 pounds by my anniversary (12/30). and I am starting today. 362 Fri, 31 Jul 2015 20:17:24 EST Moving forward I've been on sparkpeople lost 40 lbs, I'm really pleased with the outcome so far but I'm ready to push forward. I want to increase my fitness and endurance and I know sp has the resources to help m reach my fitness goals. Right now I'm not worried about losing weight that will come in time but being more active is the most important right now. Wed, 29 Jul 2015 16:56:31 EST Did it once, time to do it again Hey everyone! For those of you that have been here a while, you may remember my success in weight loss. Well, as life happens, I hit some extremely rough patch of life and gained all the weight back (with a few extra).

So, in the beginning of the year I made it a point to get back on the wagon and lose the weight again. I started this year at 310. As of this morning I'm at 271. My goal is 180.

Check out my page for my first journey and where I'm headed on my second time... Wed, 29 Jul 2015 13:50:19 EST changing habits So I have been changing my eating habits slowly over the past 3 months in efforts to make this weight loss attempt permanent. I have cut out most fast food, cut out soda, went from 8 cups coffee a day to 1, stopped buying cookies at work, stopped buying biscuits at work, went from 1 candy bar a day to 1 a week, started eating protein filled breakfast, and started drinking at least 8 cups of water a day. But...I have gained 10 lbs rather than lose. Has this ever happened to anyone else befo... Wed, 29 Jul 2015 06:41:17 EST Hey there! Hi everyone! I wanted to take a second to introduce myself :) I'm Christy and I'll be 31 in November. I started my weight loss journey in late 2012 and I was able to lose 65 lbs over the course of a year or year and a half. Over the last year or so, I've pretty much plateaued and made little progress. I'm super frustrated with myself and my progress, so I joined Sparkpeople in hopes of finding a sense of community with others who have struggled with and overcome the same challenges. I l... Sun, 26 Jul 2015 21:14:43 EST Hello Hello. I just joined today. My weight's snuck up on me a bit at a time over the years, and now that my arthritis is backing off a bit, I'm determined to shed as much as I can. If I don't, I know I'm staring down the barrel of knee and/or hip replacement surgeries before I hit fifty. Plus, I'm the mom of two very active kids. I want to be able to keep up with them and still going strong when I'm a grandma some day. Sun, 26 Jul 2015 15:09:45 EST New here, for the second time! Hi there, my name is Sheena. I am 31 and am looking to lose about 75 lbs. I was an avid Sparkpeople member about 7 years ago, and lost 60 lbs! Life, a marriage and two kids later I saw my bad eating habits return and stopped working out. So here I am again, hoping to see that same success through SP again. Excited to be back here! Fri, 24 Jul 2015 18:23:44 EST Feeling Good I'm so glad to have found an organization that is committed to providing a community to aid in developing and sustaining health goals. It's free. I'm ready to commit myself to bettering my lifestyle by placing my health first. Thank you to all those that have welcomed me, newbies, and those that continue to work hard and make small steps toward healthy habits. Thu, 23 Jul 2015 15:18:08 EST Back To Spark People Happy Thursday to everybody.

Making this my official return to spark people. Haven't used the site in about 3 years, but looking at making some serious changes again.

I'm a 32 year old married father of a 8 month old boy. Transition after having a child has been hard on workouts and diet, and finally starting to get things back under control again. Unfortunately it definitely took a toll on my body, and my goals, as I am now back to needing to lose about 60 lbs. <BR... Thu, 23 Jul 2015 07:14:56 EST Hello New to this site. Here to make some long overdue changes. Looking forward to getting it done. Started by writing my first blog today. Wed, 22 Jul 2015 16:02:29 EST I'm ready to change! Hi everyone!
I am 38 years old, a mother of two, and I need to lose 58 lbs. I have battled my weight most of my life and I'm ready to change... change my habits, change my mind and change my life! I'm hoping to find support here to help me on my help me stay motivated and accountable. It's so comforting to have people around who are on similar journey's. :) Wed, 22 Jul 2015 12:49:19 EST My name is Mary Posey Hello everyone I am determined to make some big changes in my life and I have already made quite a few changes but it is a struggle especially when trying to do it on my own and i am unable to afford any of the other programs i have heard of because i live well below the poverty line and can barely pay my everyday bills. I have had 4 surgeries in 6 months and i have another procedure this afternoon where they go down your throat (endoscopy) and my prayer is they dont find what they are lookin... Tue, 21 Jul 2015 08:57:32 EST I am new here :) Hi,
I am a 36 year old who wants to lose a lot of weight, and generally learn to have a healthier lifestyle. I have a 10 year old autistic boy who is developmentally delayed and suffers from epilepsy and other neurological/medical problems, so for the last 9 years I have just not had any emotional or mental energy to even attempt this, as it seems we have been in "crisis mode" most of the time. I have spent the last year getting a stronger support system around me, and we have been ab... Sun, 19 Jul 2015 16:18:14 EST Hardest Meal Do you have a meal that is hardest to follow your plan? I have the worst time at lunch time. I do very good for breakfast and dinner. I have a wonderful husband who motivates me to be good. Lunch is completely different story. I work at a office that is food motivated. There is always someone ordering food or bringing food. Sometimes I feel obligated to join in and then I feel bad afterwards for giving in. I definitely need to continue working on sticking to my plan for lunch and not ordering... Fri, 17 Jul 2015 09:57:14 EST Hello! Hello everyone! New to this group. I have been in Minnesota a year next month and LOVE it here! Transplanted from Montana. Thu, 16 Jul 2015 15:56:58 EST Hi all! Back on the wagon... after a few attempts. This time, though, I'm feeling less like it is punishment to eat well and exercise, more as a reward. So I think I'll be good!

I'm 33, and currently 217#. At my doc's a couple of weeks ago, it was 215. I've been doing cardio, eating perfectly, and strength training since. I was feeling a little frustrated by that, so I decided to hop over here for support. I am losing inches, so I know it's probably just gaining muscle, but still, it sucks.

... Wed, 15 Jul 2015 22:12:40 EST Hola I’m Juli from Wisconsin. I joined SP long time ago. I guess it wasn’t until last week that I was really ready to work on losing my weight. I lost control of my weight a few years back when I was diagnosed with RA/Lupus. I have about 60+ lbs to lose. I’m focusing on winning small goals at the time to make it more manageable. Looking for all the support I can get. I started keeping track of my daily food intake and learning more about nutrition. Wed, 15 Jul 2015 13:45:14 EST Hey there Hello, everyone. I'm getting started again, but this time I want to actually be more active on the forums and stick with a weight loss plan. So, here's a little about me. I'm 32, getting married in 12 days, and have about 75 pounds to lose. Really, I just want to get healthy since I have been feeling so run down while carrying around the extra weight. I'm an avid knitter/crocheter/spinner/weaver and love anything to do with fiber arts. Looking forward to getting to know you all and join... Mon, 13 Jul 2015 07:48:28 EST Hello World! Hello Friends,
I've never been a part of an online community before. In fact, this is my first post on a message board. Ever. So please be gentle. :-)
Like all of you I'm looking to make a healthy change to my life. I'm equal parts excited and terrified and I'm hoping I can find the support I need within the SparkPeople community and maybe give some support back.
That's all for now...but I'm sure I'll 'see' you again soon. Sun, 12 Jul 2015 22:38:10 EST Having a hard time I went off my diet a few days ago not horribly but I can't seem to get totally back on track. Please if you have some motivation share it with me! I'm sinking fast. Sat, 11 Jul 2015 14:51:35 EST This is me Hi Everyone, I am new here and am looking forward to sharing this journey with you all. Fri, 10 Jul 2015 04:28:43 EST Hello from a lapsed Spark Person! Just thought I would pop on and say hello as this is a new group for me!

I followed the Spark plan 3 years ago and got well on my way to my target... but then I got married, got complacent, got knocked up on honeymoon, had a baby and suddenly he's one and I haven't lost the baby weight and am worse off than I was before!

So I'm back with new motivation (my son!) and enthusiasm to get fit and lose some pounds along the way. When I followed the plan before I was in the 20 ... Thu, 9 Jul 2015 16:56:46 EST Hi everyone Hi everyone my name is Celeste and I just turned 30 and really need to get this weight off. I had a scope of my knee last year and now my knee is hurting again. Not good. Once this weight comes off I hope the pain will go away. I am setting my first goal just to lost 5 pounds by the ending of this month. If I can do that I can do anything. Baby steps Tue, 7 Jul 2015 13:41:42 EST Weekends/Free Time I'm sure this is a topic that a lot of us have dealt with throughout our lives, what to do with free time. Within the past year I've moved into a different area in my field and for the first time in my adult life (particularly since that moment where I realized I needed some kind of help), I have weekends off in the summer and I have a lot more free time that I need to fill.

Now, I don't want to sound like a guy who's complaining about having a good problem, but I spent the last 1... Mon, 6 Jul 2015 09:32:51 EST Time to reignite the spark! Hi all, I am Jessica. I have been on Spark before and had some success. Then I had a surprise baby and now I am back to where I started. I am a proud mother of three beautiful girls and have been happily married for almost 11 years. My family is great but it's time I stop moping and start making myself a priority! I am hoping joining a team and having like minded and same goal oriented people to talk to will help keep me motivated. Sun, 5 Jul 2015 00:02:36 EST A good place to start? Hi - I'd love some recommendations on how to best begin and maintain some new health habits in terms of fitness. I've begun tracking meals, but otherwise, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. My wife is willing to commit to some new ways as well. I love yoga, but regular classes seem hard to come by in the town where I'll be for the majority of the summer. Without a class, though, I fear I won't commit to anything active. Wed, 1 Jul 2015 10:09:47 EST GREETINGS Hi everyone! my name is Alicia... Haven't really been on SP besides to weigh in for the last year...but wanting to use it more to motivate me...I have been going to the gym since march and have lost 30lbs... but the last two weeks I have fallen off the wagon and managed to gain 4lbs... but as of today I am back on it and hoping to stay there.... just wanted to introduce myself.... nice to meet everyone! Mon, 29 Jun 2015 18:21:44 EST Newly 30 and Newly Back! 524

I'm looking forward to being in this group as I recently turned 30 yrs old and need all the extra motivation I can get!!!!

Here's a little about why I recently rejoined SparkPeople:

About 2 yrs ago I was happy in love but so unhappy with how much I weighed- it was the heaviest I had ever been! Suddenly I found myself out of a relationship a couple months into my weight loss journey and that helped me get my butt in gear and I managed to lose 72... Mon, 29 Jun 2015 17:11:40 EST Hello Hi! My name is Lisa. I am a 30 year old mom of 6 (if you include biological and foster parenting) from Indianapolis, Indiana. I am ready to lose this baby weight and be healthy for good. I have had other attempts before, but never was I really into it. This time I feel it is different and I am making a support network and taking measures to keep myself accountable, as well as having my husband support and change with me for a healthier lifestyle. I really look forward to this journey and hope... Mon, 29 Jun 2015 12:40:29 EST Hello everyone! Today is my very first day and I would just like to say hello. Sat, 27 Jun 2015 19:08:14 EST Hello! I have been on sparkpeople before under a different username, just rejoined on the 24th. I'm a 30 something mom of 2 kids. I went through a tumultuous divorce, and was lucky enough to meet, 3 years later, a great guy who's supportive, and responsible. He thinks I'm beautiful the way I am, but I feel the need to lose the 40 or so extra lbs I'm carrying around. Can't wait to get to know some people on here, and utilize some of the information I've already picked up from Spark!! Thu, 25 Jun 2015 16:40:32 EST Finally losing weight! So I created this account a long looooong time ago hoping it would motivate me to lose weight. I ended up avoiding it :) especially when the weight stopped coming off. I have been in the 190-200 bracket for the past two years and no matter what I tried, the weight would not come off.

A Little About Me
I am 33 and a mother of two. I have suffered with PCOS, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol for the past several years.( Before kids, I was always in the gym, ate clean, a... Wed, 24 Jun 2015 18:05:43 EST Hi!! Hello everyone. My name is Kelly and I just joined spark people again this afternoon after being away from it for about five years. I lost almost 100 pounds back then, but had some health issues and gained most of it back. I am back again determined to lose what I gained back plus a bit more!! I look forward to participating in this group!! Sun, 21 Jun 2015 21:03:25 EST Starting over! Hi, I have been in this group for a long while now. I have been going back and forth on the weight loss train for the last 2 years (how long I have been on Sparkpeople). Last year I managed to lose 17 pounds for our 15th anniversary vow renewal. But after the summer, I went back to old habits (we homeschool, so it was pretty easy to slip back into the snacking on whatever the kids are eating, drinking my Mountain Dew to keep me moving, you know all the big no-no's!). Well, I am at it again. T... Mon, 15 Jun 2015 10:39:14 EST Newbie and ready to loose Hello, my name is nikki. I have a great husband and 5 great kids. I am happy in my life but my weight and body is not a happy thing for me. I weigh 200 pounds right now and have lost 7 pounds so far. I want to get down to 130. I have made drastic changes in my life and my families life so fat. I got us a gym membership, pay for a trainer to give me my monthly workout plan, have only been drinking water, and took all unhealthy food out of our house and bought healthy food. My husband is... Sun, 14 Jun 2015 04:38:37 EST line between awkward and sexual harrassment... my best friend's not reachable at the moment (on vacation with family after her surgery--good for them, they need it), and I'd ask her. I talked to some of my friends last night, but I'm still bereft of good advice (and a female perspective).

Part of my issue the past week with work and my "blowing things out of proportion" post reared its head on Thursday and Friday morning when I realized that some boundaries b/w me and a co-worker were getting crossed. he expressed a liking for ... Sat, 13 Jun 2015 11:49:00 EST Hello I'm new to the team and rejoining Spark People after a few years' absence. Hey howdy

Well, I didn't realize how badly the events of the past two months were affecting me. small things here and there lumped with big things and suddenly everything accumulated in the past two days. now I feel like a total heel.

Basically, I was concerned about our break room at work which has 2 fridges for 2 different crews, and one of them's for a special program that stays overnight and provides food because of their funding to that crew. well, I saw a co-worker... I'm generally very positive and love to laugh. :) Anybody up for an international shed the pounds buddy? I will do my b... Tue, 2 Jun 2015 03:34:04 EST Hi Everyone! I got pregnant in December 2012, gained 55#, lost half, and gained it back. So here I sit at 230# struggling to stay motivated to lose it despite being so upset with how I look and feel. I finally feel motivated by the fact that I'm hating being in... Mon, 1 Jun 2015 20:45:09 EST hi I have been on on diets it seems for a very long time and i just realize I am not getting any younger, so i figured why not give it a shot. I have taken medication to lose weight. I did Jennie Craig for awhile and then afterwards I did weight watchers and attended meetings but stopped. I sometimes find dieting kinda hard and hope to find a simple way of doing things. Mon, 1 Jun 2015 14:59:22 EST hello Hi,

I'm 36 years old, and have been over weight since I was in elementary school. I want to lose 70-75 pounds. Sun, 31 May 2015 22:03:00 EST Hello So I have never done a weight loss site like this before and to be honest, I'm a little nervous. I've always been alright with my weight but I know that as I get closer to 40, it is going to be so much harder to break all of my bad eating habits. So I decided now is the time to start so that I can get healthier and more active with my family. The one reason I joined here was to be part of a supportive community with a collective healthier goal in mind for ourselves and each other. I'm loo... I'm returning to SparkPeople after many years as well. The first account I created I weighed in at 212 and I was devastated. I'm now at 230 and must say I'm mortified. I'm truly not sure how all of the weight crept up on me. (Well, I do know, but I can't believe that I let it get this far out of hand.)

I remember hitting 202 at 40 weeks pregnant with my oldest and thinking that I'll never do that again and since then I've had three more kids and have allowed my weight to creep... Wed, 29 Apr 2015 17:02:26 EST Greetings from Mexico Hello everybody. My name is Jessica and I am 32 years old.
I recently became a vegan because I don't like animals being killed for any reason.
This new life style has been ok for me, the problem is that sometimes I don't cook that much and I end up eating vegan junk food :( This, along with me taking contraception pills and eating sweets and chips led me to gain 22 kilos, which I'm looking forward to losing and being thin and healthy again.
Please wish me luck! :) Tue, 28 Apr 2015 09:31:07 EST Hello Hello everyone, I am new to this and hoping to stay motivated in reaching my weight loss goas. Mon, 20 Apr 2015 14:09:38 EST Have to get my weight on track for myself Hi everyone my name is Stacey I am a mom of four beautiful girls and a grandmother. I live in northern Indiana and have chose to get my life on track for myself and my children I need to lose at least 800lbs to be under 200lbs it hard to get myself to eat at all so this is a great challenge for me hope to have good luck on here Thu, 16 Apr 2015 14:09:10 EST Hi Y'all! Hi 30 somethings...I signed up a bit ago but have never used it. I joined a challenge last week at work to try to kickstart my weight loss goal. I'm a full-time mommy (8yr/13yr), wife, employee (60+hrswk) and soccer mom. Gesh - therefore I absolutely have NO time for the gym. I'm constantly tied to my computer and/or phone therefore I believe that this group would be a great motivator to my journey. Thank you for allowing me to join Team 30 Somethings! Thu, 16 Apr 2015 13:57:21 EST Another reason to bounce back quickly I'm going to share an article I saw on yahoo today which may have been shared here before but I hope people take this in the spirit is intended. I used to be a binge and emotional eater and I tended to also be an all-or-nothing kind of eater where I'd just call it a day if I slipped up. "Well, today's goal is already shot so might as well go to town with it". Obviously, that wasn't helpful or else I wouldn't need the awesome support and encouragement and guidance of this community. Hopefully,... Thu, 16 Apr 2015 12:38:49 EST HI Trying Spark for the first time. I live in Oklahoma work as an RN. Mon, 13 Apr 2015 13:23:54 EST Just joining Hi Everyone. I'm 32 with 55 lbs to lose. I've and just joined Spark and this team. I've actually lost a similar amount of weight before and managed to keep it off for years but since having my baby last year, I've been struggling to lose it back and get back into a healthy space in my life. Anyway, I'm glad to have found this group an... Sun, 12 Apr 2015 11:26:53 EST Frustrated So I started working out in February. I joined a gym, and I go to the kickboxing class there twice a week, and I go to the gym for 2 hours on Fridays to practice kickboxing and get some strength training in. The days I go to the gym, I usually get between 10,000-13,000 steps (according to my FitBit). My dietician has me on a diet of 1,500 calories a day, 2,500mg of sodium a day, and 30g of carbs per meal.

My weight went up about 5 lbs when I started working out. After going to ... Wed, 8 Apr 2015 09:38:56 EST positivity comes in all sorts of places I am new to the group, but I had something happen to me this week I thought was not only inspiring to me, but may help a few of you out there. I was sitting in my normal place in church, in front of a family who has 5 kids. The youngest of which is 3 and has taken a liking to me. This last week, he asked if he could sit with me. To keep him happy and quiet his mother and I agreed it was alright. After service was over he gave me a hug. Following this he went to his mother and trying to whispe... Slacking off and eating a bunch of junk food isn't even entering my mind. I've been working out almost 2hrs everyday in the pool like a fitness addict for 2 months. But I'm not taking any chances. If I do start to l... Thu, 2 Apr 2015 19:02:07 EST Hi everybody! I'm new here. Hi.

My name's Jean. I'm 37 y/o, married, kids, happy life, or seemingly so.
