I'm not sure if it's due to playing softball on crappy fields (although never sprained it before playing softball) or from running on my treadmill in cheap sneakers. Anyway, my friend thinks I sprained it because of my sneakers and that I should buy actual running sneakers that are a bit more expensive in the $50 - $100 range. Woot! http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=1328x11225x49160023 Proud of myself for exercising 3 days in a row this week. Yesterday and the day before I took an aquafit class and today I went to the pool to take another one and discovered the teacher was sick and a replacement hadn't been located so it was cancelled. So....I swam lanes for half an hour and then did some of our aquafit moves on my own for 15 minutes. Yes, it crossed my mind just to enjoy the hot tub, but I chose to exercise instead. I lost over 50 pounds the last time I was here, and then as it does, life got in the way and I stopped tracking so slowly, over 2 years, about 1/3 of the weight crept back on. I think I might have over done it a bit though. Hoping to find some ideas on things I can do for a good work out that won't ravage my knees. I just started biking and doing zumba, and that seems to be going well, but it's not something I want to do every single day.
