Sorry to inundate you guys on my first day here, I'm just really curious about your insight to a few things! I've been vegetarian for 15 years, so I'm very accustomed to getting my protein from beans, tofu, etc. However, with the increase of protein and decrease of rice, I'm going to have to compensate somehow. Any veggie ideas on making up the 3-4 ounces of meat and 3 ounces of fish? I can do some meat substitute, but other ideas are definitely welcome. Someone referred to the Snacks section of the book. A friend who is doing FS with me and I looked at the Snacks section, but we can't figure out which are appropriate for which phase! I am especially thrilled that I get bananas and peanut butter back this week. <em>4</em> My goal for this week is to lose 1 pound. Wed, 28 Nov 2007 10:50:05 EST Jicamas Why do you suppose jicamas are one of the free foods? They aren't necessarily all that low calorie. One quarter of a large one is over 100 calories. I'm eating mine just the same because I like them and I'm hungry, but I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas or has wondered the same thing?
