I am not exactly new here but new to posting. I decided to post today to try to find support. I am 44 years old and have been perimenopausal since 39. It is extremely frustrating and embarrassing. I felt I was too young and still do! I gained 10 pounds prior to PM due to stress and depression and since then I have gained between 10-15 pounds on top of that. I have been extremely active in the past (half-marathons, bootcamp, ToughMudders, Spartans....) and recently with the weight... Tue, 21 Feb 2017 08:32:13 EST Please Help Me Reduce My Daily Calorie Intake Please help. At first, I aimed for 1600 cal a day and I just felt muddle headed and sick and didn't want to drink water. It was like that for 3 weeks and I lost 6 pounds and then regained 3 pounds. Today, I had a (what I calculated to be) 1800 cal intake and I feel fine. But I'm reading how people are able to keep their calories to 1200-1600 a day. I'd really love some insight as to whether I'm on the right track and should maintain the 1800/day or if there is a way to reduce my calories...
