We have some "100% Whey" powder in the house, but I'm wary of it, mainly due to fears of cross-contamination.

Also, if you can think of any other excellent non-dairy protein sources, feel free to suggest them! Some of my go-to items at the moment are shrimp, skinless chicken breast, edamame, black beans, eggs, & nuts or peanut butter. Fill it with water and slice lemons, limes, oranges (organic of course) or pineapple and straberries or any fruit, and let it sit overnight. It is so delicious and now I drink lots of water every day. You can also use vegetables. Sliced cucumbers are my favorite. I've noticed that whenever I decide to track my calories on Sparkpeople- the calorie amounts are often 10 more than what the package says per serving. Has anyone else noticed this, or know why this might be? I'm wondering if maybe companies are now allowed to round down or something? Or if users input an extra 10 calories on purpose for some reason? It's odd that it's consistently 10 off.

I know 10 calories isn't a lot- but over the course of time it adds up! Tue, 30 Apr 2013 10:28:05 EST Question about tracking fluids http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=7&imparent=30876649 I am following Spark's meal plans and when it suggests things with my meal like tea, coffee, milk, etc, should I count it in my daily water intake. I only drink actual water after my workouts, but I drink unsweetened tea all day so I log that in my cups of water. So, 2 days ago, I logged only 4 cups fluid, but I had a glass of something with every meal that Spark recommended.

???

Blessings, Michelle Tue, 30 Apr 2013 10:06:17 EST Going it alone - advice? http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=7&imparent=30876636 Hey all:

I am trying to do this on my own and have failed miserably in the past. I am not looking for a buddy or anything like that - tried it, didn't really keep me "accountable" or motivate me or anything. I don't have many close friends to turn to, either....
