When I sync my fitbit it accounts for those "all day activities" and jumps up my caloric range significantly so my question is: doesn't fitbit take into consideration my BMR (so I'm burning calories from exercise as well as BMR)? If SP creates my caloric range based off of my BMR and gives me a range of 1250-1550 and fitbit accounts for it how could I possibly need to eat back all of the calories I "burned" in all day ac... I am itching to get back to exercise - more than a brief walk or stationary bike. I have talked to my Ortho and he doesn't really have an opinion one way or the other as to what I SHOULD do - just that I shouldn't run, jump, etc. - because it shortens the life of the replacement. I can keep my balance while doing kicks as high as I am tall. I put on my roller skates this morning and my core is now strong enough to keep me upright and skating. My measurements have stayed the same, and my weight has stayed the same or gone between the same 2-3 lbs for 3 weeks now. So my calorie range is 1400-1700 normally (when I eat 1500 I feel like I'm going to faint or be sick), and when I burn 300-400 cals during a workout, it bumps it up, so I eat more. In the winter I do go to the pool but as the good weather arrives my exercise comes from starting and maintaining my lawn, garden, vegetable garden.
