I recently read somewhere about retracting the scapula to focus mainly on the chest, but my triceps are still getting killed before my chest is done. So my question is, should I stop locking my elbow and maybe just go about 3/4s of the way, then back down? This makes sense to me, logically, because more tension on the chest is better.
