It looks like the Spark Page layout has changed and I can't find where my daily spark point total is at. I see the point listed off to the side for each of the three areas, but not a total like it used to be. Yes, I know I can add them up, but I admit that I'm just lazy and like to be able to do a quick check. Thu, 11 Dec 2014 05:21:27 EST Tracking sugar as a nutrient http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=3&imparent=35096822 I know sugar isn't exactly a nutrient but I want to be able to track how much I'm consuming a day so I don't eat too much or just get an idea of the average. The nutrition tracker is a real eye-opener for many of us as far as how many calories, sodium and saturated fat we consume so I think this would be a good idea as well. Any chance we can see this implemented? Mon, 8 Dec 2014 02:23:47 EST Shared Food Logs? http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=3&imparent=35084779 I was wondering if there is a way to share food logs with other users (or just a setting so they can be viewed by others)? I have not been able to find this feature, and if it is not there, I would love to see that in the future. It is great to be able to see what others are doing- especially when they are having success... and it would be neat to be able to view the diaries of others in group challenges, too.

Is this something that might ever come to be here? Mon, 1 Dec 2014 21:07:21 EST Linked accounts for families http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=3&imparent=35043431 One thing I'd love to see is a way to link the accounts of family members so we can sync up our meal plans. I hate having to go over each day for my husband's and my plan to ensure we have the same meals. It's also a pain to have to combine both shopping lists, maybe there could be a paid service for meal plans for families or something. And though most meal plans are pretty clean already, I'd like to see a "clean eating" diet option. Or maybe a partial-vegetarian option. I want to eat vegeta... While I recognize that it looks really good when you are selling advertising to say you have X number of members (and I am not suggesting doing anything with the Sparkpages), when you are looking for support from a team and you join a team that is listed as having thousands of members it is really discouraging to find that only a handful are actually participating members. A large part of his problem is nutrition and portion control. I tried to set him up on the site so I could show him how much sugar and calories are in some of the foods he over indulges in and how it adds up - so I can try to teach him at an earlier age to make better choices. I understand that kids shouldn't "diet", but can't we have the tools to teach them proper choices. How many adults don't realize the poor choices we make until we see them in black and... For articles with workouts on them we should have a quick track button available. Like the video pages have. It's much easier that way, so it's more motivating to do those workouts. This way you don't have to have the article in one tab, and the fitness tracker in another going back and forth between tabs to enter all the exercises individually. Sat, 8 Jun 2013 18:13:51 EST Peripheral Neuropathy http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=3&imparent=31157735 Good day. March 3rd I had a fall and fractured my left ankle/fibula. I was placed in a walking boot and first 3 weeks was off work and bed rest. Ortho dr. didn't want to place me in a cast due to muscle spams from MS. All was healing and progressing well. Back to work part time week 4. Beginning of week 5 I developed tingling in my toes and under my feet but ok to deal with. By the end of the week I had full blown Neuropathy from knees down in both feet and around my waist. I have bee... It's a requirement of the yoga school I plan to attend...They show the link in high protein, high dairy diets by country to specific cancers as epidemiological response to country consumption and country prevalence of disease.

I know you can't customize to everyone, but it's a good read.

If you could also have a check box for "No Dairy" in nutritional prefs...that would be awesome for my shopping list. Sat, 4 May 2013 09:28:51 EST Please add custom special goals to "Other Goals" http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=3&imparent=30877210 The one feature that would make SP perfect for me would be the ability to add several custom goals in the "Other Goals" section that would allow me to define my own goal and then enter a numerical value (not just a checkmark). If we could have as many as four slots for this, it would be so great, but if for some reason there could not be four, I'd appreciate however many I could have.

One more feature: I'd love the ability to reorder my user-defined "other goals." There was even a couple years when I was young where I wasn't allowed by my doctor to do any type of running and high intensity sport/play. Thu, 21 Feb 2013 12:33:45 EST Fitbit Sync suggestion http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=3&imparent=29833717 I recently got a Fitbit and synched it with SP. Needless to say, while I'm enjoying the Fitbit, the minutes and calories imported for Fitness everyday are way too high. I'm deleting the entries and may eventually cancel the synch. However, I like the fact that my SP nutrition tracker synches with Fitbit. Is there a way that we can choose what synches between Fitbit and SP? It would be lovely if I could just synch the nutrition tracker.

Thank you. I find ten-minute workouts a waste of time, for example. I think that 1800 fitness minutes as an annual goal is kind of laughable. I wonder why exercise trophies only go up to 1000 minutes a month, when I know that I need a minimum of 2000 minutes a month just to maintain my current weight, much less lose anything.

There are studies out there which indicate that at least 60 minutes a day is important for... My elliptical's calories burned is a lot different than this sites but its probably because I can't enter my weight on mine. I would think it could be calculated like walking or cycling?
