Was just counting the weeks down and counting our progress. We have ten weeks left, so regardless of how close we are to the 25 lbs in 25 weeks, let's for sure focus on 10 more pounds down in the 10 weeks we have left. Planning my food every day and writing down what I eat makes me very conscious of what I put in my mouth.

I personally would like 10 more pounds down before Xmas (or Hanukkah!). How 'bout you?

Yes Bama, just keep pushing! Sometimes those numbers just don't show up and then BAM there they are lol. Just keep doing what you're doing.

Small goals are good. I like making small fitness and weight goals for myself, it helps me push on and keep going when the going is tough.

I weighed in this morning and am emoticon 1.8 pounds this week (weighing in at 263.8). So I passed losing 45 pounds this weigh-in emoticon

small goals is the only way to go......just keep setting realistic numbers every month and then it is all good if you meet and or beat them each time Keep up the good work

Weigh in 181, no weight loss, but as I get closer to my healthy weight, it gets harder. Last month I lost no weight the first week, then two pounds, then two pounds, then all of a sudden 5 lbs. I know I can't expect that every time, just have to keep on keeping on, but I sure would like to be under 180.

And the weeks just keep flying by.....was worried about this week with all the eating out but I used what works best for me....check the menu first and decide just what you will eat and stick to it....I did and lost 3 lbs. this week. Now I will work to get the last two of my months goal off next week and then go for bonus pounds before the end of the month. Hope everyone had a great week-end Jeanne

I can't edit from my iPod... Was trying to say, hey everyone. My weigh in this morning was 265.6, which is 1.6 down from last week. I lost the weight I gained last week plus a fifth of a pound so I'm happy for that!

Happy October all We are having a nice cool down, at least for a few days. Air conditioning is off and enjoying the cool mornings. Well another week has flown by and my weigh-in day is here again and things are still going good. Down to 235.2 this week for a 2.4 lb. loss. Busy week ahead with two luncheon meetings and my mother-in-law's 91st birthday so lets see how I navigate three restaurant meals in one week!!!! Have a great week all Jeanne

My weigh in this morning was 267.2 which is emoticon 1.4 pounds. Between two high calorie days (one was a vacation day) and starting that TOM yesterday, that's pretty much what I expected. So I'm okay with it for the most part. Plus it isn't that big of a gain and I know it'll be better next week!

Good Morning all Well it is Monday again and while it is a rainy dreary day here in Central Florida I am happy and smiling. Since the start of this current weight loss journey, the end of April 2014, as of this morning I have lost 50.8lbs. This week I lost 2.4 lbs. So that makes it 27.4 since the start of the challenge!!!! Bama, I understand. One week I lost 0.8 pounds and was hoping to hit my 30 pounds lost and get down in the 270's that week, and just barely missed both. It was so disappointing. So I completely understand where you're coming from on that... but it's good you're looking at how far you've come because you're doing awesome!

Thanks Bonnie, I appreciate the support. I was a little bummed all day yesterday because I had a milestone I wanted to hit, also, like Jeanne (it would have been 25 pounds since I joined this challenge) but I know I will get there. Weight loss at 55 yo is a whole lot different than it was at 35 yo. My BMI is still in the overweight range, I just have to keep in mind that regardless of the number I have in mind, it is the healthy goal I am going for. I mean, my goodness, I am down 40 lbs and 3 dress sizes.

Hey Bama. I know it's tough to stay the same. I did that about a couple weeks ago and it is annoying but someone told me that sometimes it's our bodies' way of adjusting to all the work we've been doing. I've slowly come to realize that after a couple weeks. It doesn't make it much easier to accept but between our bodies catching up and gaining muscle, that can account for no movement on the scale. Stay strong!

Weigh in Monday for me, no loss, the first time in 4 mths without movement on the scale. Since I am about 14 lbs from the top end of my healthy weight and I am in the gym all the time and staying in my calorie intake, I think it might be some muscle gain, because my clothes are still loose. Just trying to stay positive, because I know how hard I am working.

My weigh in yesterday morning showed me a 1.6 pound loss (270.8). Not bad for being sick five of those days and getting in less exercise and all. I'm so close to being out of the 270's. It feels long overdue but I know I've been making progress every week, some of it has been slow this past ten pounds though so that's the only reason it feels overdue.

My weight this morning was 220.8. Slowly I am getting there. Hope everyone is doing well and having small successes as well. I am Day 29 of my 30 day clean and healthy eating and I can honestly say....I am not going back to the way I was eating. Such a big difference in how I feel. And....I feel awesome....Now I have to pack for my birthday getaway this weekend. Just a lil excited!!!! LOL!

WOOHOO it is Weigh in Wednesday and yes I'm still exactly the same weight but over the weekend my husband moved out and we (kids and I) got home on Monday and started getting things how we want them ... could take till the end of the week LOL

Lost a pound this week, a little breathing room under 190.

Weigh in 188.

Since I joined this board, am down 24 lbs.!

I would like to be 25 lbs lower by the holidays. My goal weight keeps getting lower as I am more successful, funny how that works.

well I was pretty good, but still gained 4.6 lbs. during my 10 day vacation. So weigh in day today and I was 242.2 day I left (8/31)....246.8 day I got home (9/11).....weight today 240.8 so all in all not bad......my new goal is to be at 230 lbs. by Oct 31.

So...I weighed this morning...221.5. Finally....I feel like I can do this. Like really its in my head that there is no turning back. Everyday gets a little bit easier and gets me a little bit closer to my goal. Next Friday is my 50th birthday and my single little goal is 219.anything. Just less than 220. Then the rest will come. And next Friday will also be my 30 days that I gave myself as well so I have to make another short goal....lol.....I seem to really be doing better with this idea instead of the long term ones. I will prob do another 30 days one just because Canadian Thanksgiving is right in the middle of it. Well close enough. Anyhow....congrats to all of you that have lost and maintained your weight this week. Bonnie...congratulations on the 2.8 lb loss. We all can do this. We just have to focus on the littlier things that will add up to the big things.....Take care everyone. Have a great weekend.

That's great Bama. I have a lot of joint pain as well as other pains too, so I can't wait until I feel a significant change in that. I've noticed small amounts of reduced pain so far except for my back still aches the same but it is also made worse by doing schoolwork so that might be the culprit lol. I'm glad you're feeling less pains in moving around because that is a great result that a lot of us strive for!

Deborah, I'm glad he's found another place to live and that things are finally moving in the right direction for that. I'm sure you're looking forward to getting your gym put up and having the freedom without his presence.

Thanks Bonnie, I see the scale is moving in the right direction for you, also.

The biggest benefit for me has been how much better my joints feel, how much easier it is to maneuver around. Just little things like getting out of the car, lifting up from a seated position are not painful any more. Of course the added benefit of smaller clothing is nice, but the reduction in aches and pains is phenomenal. My body is really thanking me for lessening all that pressure on my knees and back.

I wish this for everyone. I know I still have weight to lose, but this pay off right now is so worth it.

Best of luck to everyone on our shared journey to healthy weight.

I am going to have to use my weight on September 1st for the challenge because for some odd reason, I forgot to record how much I weighed on the 2nd. I usually write my weight down in my Dietminder, but I have been having problems with making sure I do that. Well, just have to work harder. Will weigh in later today, when I wake up.

I weighed in at 275.2 this week, no gain no loss. I'm a little frustrated with that since I did everything right this week, calories in and out wise and was even being more active outside of exercise again. I'm hoping it's water weight and I also feel a little bloated, so it could very well be that from impending TOM. I doubt any of it's muscle but I could be wrong.

I weighed in yesterday forgot to report - 274 same as last week I think, but based on the report here up a pound either way I am sad but not devastated as I know where I am at and why

Bonnie and a few others just wanted to say thanks for your continued support and love and thanks for keeping an eye on my blogs etc xx

Husband still an issue, but I had a great night with Miss 16 last night and I am excited as My son (and his GF) moving home this weekend, and my daughter the following :-) so embracing as many positives as I can

To all losers - you are doing awesome and I am confident I will be starting to catch you up in the next few weeks, to those that maintained well done as that is half the battle, and to those like myself struggling on the scales find the areas where you are succeeding and in those darker moments hold tight to them ... ie I am walking every day, I am not snacking in the evenings, I am sleeping well etc :-) and the scales will get on board sooner or later xx

If so, does that help you or can it be tough seeing the fluctuations that can happen from day to day? I once weighed daily for a week but found it confusing and like a roller coaster but I know it works really well for some people.

My weigh in is Monday, I realize we post on Friday.

3.5 lb loss sine last week. I was on the "cleanse" week (week 5) of Shred which is really a large weight drop but not typical of my weight loss on Shred (except this week). I do feel better after that week, though it is a tough week with all the specific foods. Glad it is done, glad all those toxins out of my body!

So that is 20 lbs. down while on this challenge. I have adjusted my goal weight, so I still have 25 more lbs. to go.

I have been MIA for the last two weigh-ins. I am dealing with holidays, hosting, as well as injuries. I haven't made SPARK a priority, so I'm back to do that again!

Happy Sunday all am posting my weight today since I am on my way to Ft Lauderdale and a 10 day cruise to Bermuda......my plan is to be really good and stick to my eating plan and hopefully I will get lots of walking going from one activity to another!!! So my goal for August was to get to 244 and today I am 242.2 so 11.8lbs. for the month and 22.8 since the start of the challenge. Have a good two weeks, and I will be back online Sept 15

I just realized I hadn't posted my weigh-in here, wow it was over two days ago. I guess that's what the first week of school and some other chaos (related and unrelated to school) does to me!

My weigh in was 275.2, which is a 2.6 pound loss from last week emoticon

Hey Everybody!
My weigh in this week was 225.7......Making good choices and moving my derriere has helped a lot these last 2 weeks....but mostly....I am focused! I mean like really focused and it is in my head and my heart and my brain. I am going to lose this weight. I just am. Have a good day everyone and I hope you all have a great holiday weekend with lots of rest and relaxation. Just watch your choices.....oh yeah....and drink lots of water!

Thanks, Bonnie. I had only lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks prior to that, even with stringent adherence to diet and plenty of gym time. I really had to punch it up to bust that plateau, but man it was worth it.

Deborah, you are so right, part of the beauty of this board is that we ALL have 50+ lbs to lose and there iare going to be some lows and highs! but when you know that it is a common thing for all of us, and we still stick with it! it does make sense.

Getting back on track....229.3 for me this week...Woot Woot! LOL! Now...all I have to do is stop it from yoyo-ing back to the 233's again and all will be good! Hope everyone is having a good week....my week is consisting of sugar and artificial sweetener withdrawal! It's awful....hoping in another day or two the cravings for all the high carb/empty calorie foods back off some...but I am one determined woman....I am gonna see this thru for 30 days....after that who knows...maybe I will find some other bad habit to conquer!

Good Morning Ladies!

My weigh-in for this week is 229. YUCK! It's bad, but I'm not going to stress over it because I know didn't eat as well as I should have so in reality I did expect it.

ShankeyDoo... Thank you so very much for pointing out my typographical errors. I edited my last post to correct those mistakes. Sorry about that! However, the results I posted are the ones that I was suppose to post last week, so I am going to post this weeks results tomorrow since we have some who weigh-in on Thursday's. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I am definitely going to try to never miss another week again!

Weigh-in this morning was 277.8, which means I'm down 2.2 pounds from last week and I also hit thirty pounds lost finally. Really thought I was going to hit it last week but glad to hit it this week!

The most recent weigh-in was 285...not 386...*laughing*.

I was 286 last week. This week I was 285. :) That means I lost a pound. :)
