I envision myself walking into my class reunion looking great!...and then I look in the mirror...
You don't have to go balls to the wall right from the start. I find that when I decided to all of a sudden cut out everything bad & exercise like a fiend, I fail. The hardest part for me was just to decide to MAKE the time & FORCE myself to find the energy to exercise. I FORCED myself to drink water instead of pop. I used to make every excuse not to exercise. I'm the biggest couch potato at heart. It's only been since the first of the year for me, and already I don't have to FORCE or MAKE myself to do most of what I started with...drink water, cut down on pop, cut down on chocolate, & exercise...
It's ok to start with baby steps...Good Luck!!
