Hi, I just saw your post and realised no one had answered it. Sorry about that, especially as you were new when you wrote it. I have to say that for your post to get 'lost' like that is very unusual as this is normally such a supportive community.

I see you've clocked up quite a lot of points and fitness minutes so you must be doing some things right. Just wondering how it's going for you now?

Hello Everyone! I am new to this site! Like many others I have struggled with my weight since i was a child. I have always been active sports in school all year. competing in snowboarding in the winter. However it seemed like my weight just fluctuated constantly. I have never had good self-esteem. I have struggled with it my whole life. I am still dealing with it. Having had a dramatic childhood ( i don't like to say hard childhood because everyone has had a hard childhood in their own way) I have found comfort in eating, let me rephrase that OVEREATING. I have tried diets and have gone through spurts of exercising and going to the gym. I have just never felt the motivation. I still struggle with the motivation. I am a professional painter, and i do rental property maintenance so i am active all day but it seems like i cant lose the weight.
In my head i know what i need to do and i really really want to get some confidence and just feel ok in a tank top and shorts. I think about losing weight constantly and still I just don't do it! I feel like i am missing something. I am missing some sort of drive. Anyone else feel the same? or know some tips to help me get motivated?
