Challenging myself to lose at least one pound per week and looking for people who want to post regularly in order to give and receive motivation and support on our respective weight loss, fitness, and life changing journeys! Have tried participating on a few boards/threads with no luck, either nobody posts or I am intimidated by how well they already know each other. Not giving up though, hoping to create my own comfortable online home!

A bit about me: I am a 42 year old mom of three (ages 8, 11, and 15), home with them for now, but thinking about getting at least a part time job now that they are a bit older. Joined SparkPeople on September 1st 2013, but was dieting for about a week prior to joining. Have lost 6 lbs. so far even though my ticker only shows 3lbs. YAY!!! Now, have 75 more to go...
Planning to stay on plan today and get at least 30 minutes of exercise. Hope some of you will join me and post a bit about yourself!
