I have a confession to make lol . My weigh ins at W.W. were Thursdays and W.W. Journal starts on Thursdays so I just put on Monday what I weighed on the previous Thursdays . It keeps it a nice half week mini goal so this Monday when I weigh in its going to be what I weighed on Thursday that being said .. I over ate today ! YEEK !!!! In the words of a wise man ICE CUBE ... Life anit a track meet its a marathon ! I am lucky because I have Monday and Tuesday off so going to devote lots and lots of exercise the next couple of days and going to eat the minimum carbs and calories . and I will not step on that scale until THURSDAY ! I am scale addicted ! GETRESULTSMDMEE welcome to the group , more people more good vibes ! INTHELOOP I always carry snacks with me , I like bananas but sometimes they get smooshed hehee , Rice cakes are good and rice crackers are amazing and low cal .. Almonds you can only have a quarter cup per serving but they are high protein and help me stay fuller longer . apples... One thing I like to carry also is a small container of blackberries , they are sweet but light . and so good they make me feel like I'm cheating when i have them lol. and water water water and did I say water ? Everyone is going to do great at this goal ! NO MAN LEFT BEHIND or shall I say ladies left behind ? or even lets leave our behinds , behind ! haha !

Tomorrow is the Monday Weigh In - Happy New Month Everyone.

I was not perfect yesterday - my goal here is being "ALL IN" to meet this challenge.
I must confess - I'm having a few regrets. The late night snack - and this mornings breakfast extras - ayeee the guilt....as near as I can calculate the two "errors" or "bad choices" add up to 709 calories....it was weird, at breakfast, my mind started rationalizing why I could eat it the sausage link - (this would be a NO on my plan) poof! it was gone. lol emoticon

I will make a plan to keep this from happening the next time I am hungry...surely there is somehing healthy I can keep with me in my purse or car - a go to snack that stays fresh or keeps. Ideas Welcome.

I definitely want to join this challenge!!! I have lost 30 pounds in the last 9 weeks and would love to lose another 20 ( total of 50) by the summer solstice which is also my 5 year wedding anniversary!!

I have been doing great with my eating! High protein, low carb, low sugar, low sodium, with 6 servings of veggies and 3-4 servings of fruit per day.

I have also been working out 6 days a week (30 min cardio and 30 min strength)!!

I plan to kick it up a notch for this challenge by adding JM 30 day shred into the mix in the evenings!

I will post my starting weight on Monday!!!! Great job to all already in the challenge! Together we can do this!!!

Kyliecat1 - I have been avoiding candy dishes all week!! sheesh - I spent the week passing out little Easter Baskets with goodies - and I did not eat one piece of chocolate - I gave all of it away...torture! All my favorites - there's nothing I don't like when it comes to candy.

As they say...
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

I would rather obsess about weight loss, fitness and what I CAN eat - than worry about feeling fat - and losing my confidence again...or having nohing to wear.

For those celebrating Easter on Sunday any tips on how to stay on track this week ? I plan to save my weight watcher plus points and exercise at least an extra hour this week :) plus drink lots of water and stay hydrated . Not making too many fancy things either just the basic meal and a healthy dessert .. :) Happy Passover also and other holidays I dont know of :)

Hi Ladies ! If a man joins the group I guess I wont be saying that anymore ! Anyways...... Its been a weird few days , I bought some discount mascara and it gave me an eye infection... I hit my nose on the corner of the wall so now have red snake eyes and a swollen nose .. and I have a cold :( That being said I have been good on my eating although not so great on the exercising . Word of advice for today don't buy discount mascara ... Don't try to make sugar free pie filling with almond milk it doesn't set ! ! emoticon NEABIGSIS congrats on your weight loss and you did better then I did about the pizza ! shhhhhhhhh 2 and half slices ! lol. I would like to join this challenge also! I need a little extra motivation and encouragement to help me stay accountable. It has been a long time since I've actually used sparkpeople but I am back after having 2 children and I could use all the help to get this weight off. I cannot blame any of it on having children because I managed to lose all the baby weight after having both my children but I kept eating like I was nursing a hungry baby after I quit nursing. I just started back a few days ago.

I would like to join in as well if it is not too late. My weigh-ins I do on thursdays so last thurs I was 166 looking to get down to 146. I will post my numbers every thurdays of that is ok? Hello Ladies I had a challeging weekend. First I took my son aand his friend out for pizza and I was proud of myself because I only ate one thin slice of pizza. I loaded up on salad and ate a small amount of pasta. The next day I got sick so I was unable to workout because of the bad headache but I'm happy because I still loss 1 pound.

I was looking for this exact challenge! I was really dedicated to getting back on track for a recent vacation to Mexico, but I would love to get down a lot more before Summer!

KYLIECAV1...thanks, and congrats on your loss.
I really worked super hard this week. I started my 5K training program, cut out sodas and cut way down on my empty calories. Believe me it was a shock to my system and I got way better results than what I expected.

Knowing that we have to weigh in every Monday is really motivating me to stick to it and get my workouts done. I can't thank you all enough for the motivation that you're giving me!

BSTEVENS87 I am a slave to the scale and sometimes thats not a good thing . Sometimes I find a lose nothing or even gain and then Boom it drops , Also when we get at a lower weight it takes longer for us to take it off I think . INTHELOOP I am tired just reading your post lol. I am proud of you ! TOPS2KOPSVILLE Good luck on your weds weigh in ! IAMJOYFUL2 I am just like you an emotional eater and that scares me being away from my WW group . I also would love to lose 20 but any movement downwards is going to make me happy ! Hi Team!! Lose 20 Challenge Thread

Just so you know I quit drinking 3/17 and kicked up my fitness a bit....
I did a detox over the weekend of about 1400 calories a day and all blender drinks of vegatables and fruits, green tea no coffee - I am clean eating this week, tracking every calorie, no drinking and hitting the gym hard. The reality of it all... I may gain - but I'm feeling all fresh to kick off my April now!

20 lbs by summer would be awesome but right now my goal is 1/2 to 1 lb per week.
3/24 - 143 lbs.
I started working last week on overcoming emotional eating and am doing pretty good on that.
My goal is evolving into "eating when hungry and stopping when satisfied". So many things that I need to remember. emoticon


Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.
Drop judgment and pick up love.
If you can move a grain of sand a day, eventually you will move a mountain.
Crappy choices bring crappy feelings.
Can'ts are joy limiters.

INTHELOOP Thats is a great idea to carry snacks ! I do too , I have Hypoglycemia , So i start feeling faint if my blood sugar drops , My Old W, W. leader said they used to call her the snack lady ! lol I Buying Gym clothes is something I never thought I would buy and I have some my friends gave me so I can relate , I am just now thinking about buying exercise clothes ! lol. I also love to go to the fruit market and pick up exotic fruits or healthy snacks I have never tried before ! I am very proud of you for working on your fitness ! I have been on and off with that and realize now I have lost 40 pounds that everything is kinda ... drooping hehehe , That's a nice way of putting it ! So yeah tightening things up is just as important as getting it off ! It sounds like you have made a great plan and your right ..prepare to be hungry . a feeling I still have to get used to !

I keep dark chocolate in my fridge - and a healthy snack drawer in my desk and car.
I have a terrible sweet tooth. But for me - those calories go right to my a**

I think I will reward myself with a little something every five lbs.
new fitness items - I look poor at the gym...lol

I have worked hard this week on my health and fitness -
now to make it through the weekend AF!!!

Plan to avoid temptations and prepare to be hungry
