I don't really trust it, but the scale said I hit my July target this morning. So, I'll take it. My weight has been fluctuating up and down a few ounces every day for the last 2 weeks. Today just happened to be a "low" day. I need to get it to start moving down steadily again. SW = 168 CW = 166 GW = 166  ... but just barely

I had a very stressful day yesterday and for the 1st time in almost 2 years I really wanted a ciggarette. So I ate instead and the sodium gods bit me in the but this morning. 7/1 -SW 119.7 7/8 - CW 118.2 7/15 - CW 117.5 7/22 - CW 117.1 7/29 - CW 117.1 7/31 - CW 118.8 GW - 116 Oh well I know I didn't gain almost 2lbs in 2 day and that it's just water so I did better today and I will set a new goal tomorrow and try even harder to make that goal next month.

Good job last week and for the month everyone. It looks as though some had great ones and some stayed the same and those that had small gains know why and can correct them. I don't know about the rest of you but these challenges help me stay aware of why things are happing. I didn't have the greatest week, but it was a little bit better than the last one. I did stay in my calorie range 4 of 7 days this week. It is my TOM and I just couldn't control the cravings this month. I did do better on the excercise, not as much as I would like but way better than last week. 7/1 -SW 119.7 7/8 - CW 118.2 7/15 - CW 117.5 7/22 - CW 117.1 7/29 - CW 117.1 7/31 - GW - 116 No loss this last week and I don't think with just a few days left I am going to make my goal, but hey I am down almost 3 pounds for the month and I will take that.

My weight is holding steady this month -- not a lot of movement one way or the other. But that's OK as it is slowly inching downward. I've eaten well today (low carb, low cal, plenty of protein) ... and did a little Zumba. But I was naughty at the grocery store. I bought some ice cream and cupcakes that I have been craving. I'll have to be careful to dole them out just a little at a time. SW = 168 CW = 166.2 GW = 166

I've been moving a bit slower the past couple of days and not been as careful with my eating. Going bowling later today (not my choice, but hoping it's fun). Maybe that will burn a few calories. ;)

Well I got rid of that 200 number!!! I'm 197.8, still to close to the 2's but soooo glad to be down!! It's hubby's b-day this weekend so I'm hoping to make good choices. He just found out he's pre diabetic so I think things will be changing around here. I don't think I'll make goal, but as long as I'm not 200 anymore I'm happy!! Yikes! My weight this morning was really good (down .2), but then I snacked on cookies all day at work. Oh, my! hang in there Htygrl and Turbo. We still have some days left to make it. Cassiecat and Lou GREAT JOB!!!! you are both so close. Today I did Jillian's Extreme shed and shred Level 2. I haven't done that one in a long time. A good 45 min sweat! weight is up again, but I am not surprised. Hopefully in about 7 days it will be back down again. I am thinking of trying and weaning myself off the Celexa in Aug instead of Sept. But will have to think about it a little more before I do it. Beckie

WEIGH IN WAS YESTERDAY AND I GAINED 2LBS. I WAS ON VACATION THIS PAST WEEK SO I WAS OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE AND WITH IT BEING SO HOT I HAD MORE OF THE ICE CREAM AND COLD STUFF THAN I SHOULD HAVE. Thanks for the kind thoughts. It was my stepfather who died. He wasn't the man who raised me, but he was a nice guy. After my real father died at the age of 67, my mother married a man she started dating in a retirement community. They were about 73 when they got married. She died 2 years later, but he has been a part of my extended family for almost 15 years. He was on vacation visiting friends and died in his sleep. It could have been a lot worse. My weigh-in was OK today -- stayed about the same while on my trip and off-schedule. I need to lose another pound to hit my goal for this month. So, I need to be "very good" for the next few days. Sorry for you loss llou. Today I got up and did TF45ez and it was great workout 458 calories gone. It's raining so might not get a walk in later but will see what the day brings. Just happy to see it rain.

Went out of town unexpectedly for a few days (for a funeral) and probably gained a few ounces -- but I won't know that until I weigh myself tomorrow morning. While traveling back home today, I stopped at McDonald's and splurged on lunch -- I got fries AND cookies to munch on in the care. Uh - oh! not eating so great today. Grabbing too much from the cupboards. Also grabbed the other half of my sandwich from the cheesecake factory for my lunch today. Ok, that is over and now back on track. Today I did Bob's pure burn and strength. Right now I think my plan is going to try and do my kettlebell DVD's on M, W, F for the month of Aug. and fill in with my other DVD's on the other days. And then in Sept, I will be able to do LOTS more workouts since the kids will be back in school all day!!! my first year with BOTH kids in school full time. I hope to get in walks, or bike rides after dropping them off. then doing a DVD when I get back. Plus work on keeping my house cleaner since it will actually stay that way for a little longer. HAHA. You allowed to go on vacation and it seemed to work your weight is down. Maybe you should take breaks from Jillian and Bob and get in some long walks instead. You might see some changes. Trying to shake up my diet again this week. When I say diet I mean what I eat not that I'm on one. I am mixing in a lot of plain greek yogurt, fresh berries, watermellon, spinach, kale, fresh chicken, grass fed beef and other greens and fruit to shake it up a bit and see how my system responds. I have a part coming for my juicer then I'm making some healthy juice combos to see how the cells respond. I'm finding I have more energy already so hopefully I'm on the right track. Hiit 25 and extreme abs done for this am. Live kettlebell class after work. Have a great day.

I AM SO SORRY, I have been gone for so long this month. We ended up going to Chicago for 2 days, and at first I thought we were going to go a week later, but then hubby sprang it on me last monday that we could go THAT Week. in 3 days!!! I had to still find hotel rooms, tickets to Six flags, and figure out what else we were going to do while we were there. So I missed a LOT of workouts, and ALMOST was going to check out the fitness room at the hotel, but I was tired from all the walking for 2 days, and not sleeping well. SO I am back at it. Sunday I did Jillian's NO more trouble zones, and Today I did Bob's body rev cardio conditioning. 6/30 = 154.4 7/7 = 157.6 7/12 = 157.0 7/24 = 155.8 going in the right direction!!! Even with 3 days of birthday cake, and not so good foods while in Chicago either = 5 days of BAD EATING!!! Lets finish this week out strong, and we will start a new challenge for AUG WOW, it's going to be AUG already. Beckie

I'm still plugging away at it, did Cathe's cross fire low impact tabata, could have went for one of the other options but just wanted to get something in in the time I had. I have live kettlebell class after work which will be upper body. Hoping to see a loss soon.

Congrats everyone on all your losses this week. I did not have a good week at all, was only able to stay within my calorie range 3 of the 7 days and 1 of those days was not a good one. I was up all week long, but it must of been major sodium as I got back on track on Friday as was actually down today. My official weekly weigh-in showed a little gain this week -- the first gain in a long time -- but I am not too upset about it because I think it is just temporary. As planned, I went out to dinner last night with friends. Yes, I ate a little more than I should have, but you don't gain 1/2 pound overnight from too much appetizer. (Actually, I am pround of myself for not having dessert.) Also, my muscles are sore today from doing strength training Thursday night -- so they are probably holding a little water. So ... I am just going to try to live normally this weekend -- eat light and get a little exercise -- and hope that extra half pound goes away soon. While technically, I may have gained a few ounces this week, I am actually pretty pleased with myself. I've been able to splurge a couple of times without loosing control and going totally overboard -- and I am thinking of "eating light and getting a little exerise" as "my usual lifestyle," not as punishment or pennance. That seems to be healthy outlook. For a while there, I was getting obsessed about food and exercise in a way that didn't seem totally healthy to me. I'm feeling more emotionally balanced about my fitness & weightloss journey these days. SW = 168 CW = 167 GW = 166

Hotgyrl way to go I know how important it is to hit goals. I was hoping for a lose and saw nothing, I know I just have to find the right combination and will keep striving until I do. Now to get back on track and do it. I started turbo fire this week with some strength mixed in not necessarily Chalean extreme but that will be part of it. I want to get back into my kickboxing I've not done it in a while and it should help me get the scale moving down again. I have kettlebell class after work and already completed tf55 this am so that's something. I will do my own routine tomorrow double bells from kettlebell bombshell #2 and car show afterwards. I will most likely use the same routine for class next week if all goes well. It's a bit cooler and that's always great. LLou great job on the accomplishment you didn't let a craving get out of control and didn't let it wreck havoc on the rest of your day. We all need to practice this, it's okay to have a snack or a treat as long as you don't let it get out of hand. Great job!

I did 3 things I am pround of today. 1. I didn't eat all of my lunch. I had splurged today and bought a meatball sub and fries at the cafeteria today. (Usually, I pack a much lighter lunch). Why I did that is a long story ... but the good thing is that I didn't eat it all. I didn't eat all of the bread of the sandwich and I only ate 1/2 of the fries. So, I got my treat ... but my total calories today will be OK (even though my carbs will be a bit high.) 2. Because I had a late (and heavy) lunch, I didn't snack AT ALL today at work. 3. I did a longer workout with a kettlebell today than I have ever done. I did that because I know I am going out to dinner tomorrow and will not work out. So I did more than usual today. Boy am I bushed! I think I will be a little sore tomorrow. But that's OK. So while I wasn't perfect today... I am proud of myself because I was able to splurge without losing control and going overboard. And I needed to tell somebody it. So thanks for reading this. llou SW = 168 CW = 166.8 GW = 166

Walking again with friends this morning. I'm feeling a little guilty because I didn't exercise today. This was a planned "rest day," as I have exercised for the past 6 days and my body needs at least 1 day per week to recover -- but I still feel a little guilty. I also feel guilty because I ate cupcakes over the weekend. But I didn't eat too much else, so I don't think I did very much damage to my overall progress. Got the new scale yesterday. We'd been using the Wii Fit as a scale and I'd always thought it was off. So, new numbers.... SW: 194 CW: 188 GW: 190 Goal met thanks to accurate weight measurement for the first time!

I wasn't sure if I would see a loss this week as I had a hard time getting as many excercise minutes and calories burned as I wanted to. I had issues getting my butt up early enough to do some longer workouts. I also ate more on the high end of my calorie range and even went over 1 day since I had a craving I couldn't pass up. But overall I did end up loosing .7 so I will take it. 7/1 -SW 119.7 7/8 - CW 118.2 7/15 - CW 117.5 7/22 - 7/29 - GW - 116 Have a great rest of your weekend and a productive week.
