july 16 202.6
I am ready to beigin my new journay for the second half of year. 5 and half months to reach my goal. Imade a chart to last to september. it will run along with summer contest for my chapters. i make a menu each week and i will start doing some prep work. measuring my food, walking exercising and weights and will also drink more water. work at less sitting more moving. i am thinking of doing a 5k. look for places to go to exercise or walk.
short term goal

Get back under 200 by end of July and stay there
10 pound at a time or 5% goals each month.
journal and track food on mfp and or paper
drink 64 oz water
inches loss
take photos
measure food portion control
track sleep

My December goal is to become a KOPS so I need to work hard as it is 25 lbs. it can be done with staying on track. I AM hoping to graduate in Reno. I also need to blog about the journay. i have been yo-yo luckily i had losses the last 3 years. Now i want to become an example what TOPS can do. So here is to a new beginning a new start a dream come true. I can do this

My goal for 7/29 is 241lbs., or less. I have been working on getting cardio in. Also been working on food consumption as well.

By the end of this summer I want to have blown through the 240s and start losing regularly. I am stuck right now.

My month fizzled out BIG time due to med. issues! Here are my goals for 7/10:

1.NO soda consumption
2.Don't look for food to be stress reliever
3.go to Y at least 3x
4.record pain levels
5.do a night and morning routine
6.do arms at home on reg basis
7.practice and tune guitar
8.do 1 Grider-ride
9.my goal is to be down to 243, or less

I was at 242 day 10 of my last 10 day challenge! Below 243lbs. Now for my next 10 days, for 6/23, wishing to be at 240, or less. Hitting the exercising and recording the food so when I go to WW this week...240-241 is my goal!

I don't think I truly "backfired" I gained 3lbs. but I am experiencing severe edema! been walking faithfully but I have been drinking a LOT of diet soda, even though I know it is not the greatest for me! Even then, a LOT means maybe 16oz/day. Plus, I have been eating foods higher in sodium than I had been. AGAIN not bad but enough causing me edema! I am really concerned about this so I am making a Dr. appt. I had seen walk in clinic and they make me feel like I am nothing but a pig eating crappy all the time and that is not the case!! By my appt. date, I will be down again in weight because I do this 5-10lbs. difference just in water weight on a reg. basis. That is why I need to get a handle on this!! Seems mostly in my right leg. Don't have diabetes or HBP either...REALLY worrying me!!!

I feel like I am constantly starting from scratch!!! May was bad with all the events and going in to June. I have been exercising just not recording! Hmmmm, in 10 days if I could be at 245, or less, I would be happy! Going to be better at recording to find out where my issues are!!!

Had a rough few weeks! My goals for 2/21 are:
-do an art project
-go to WW--242lbs. Or less
-drink at least 20-40 oz. of water, I know I need more but got to get consistent again
-get more f&v in
-work out 5 days/week
-try for 10,000/day
-go to bed earlier with bob

239 is my goal for my WW meeeting monday 1/20. For the 28th, I would like to be 236lbs. or less. I am doing well on exercise but really have to focus on eating and drinking water.

I have not weighed yet this week but I did mean to do it today. I worked hard to lose a few extra lbs the week before Christmas, so if I put on 900 grams or less I am back where I want to be.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas TCANNO!! I lost about 6lbs. this month...woot-woo!! For my next 10 days my goals will basically remain the same.But I am hitting water therapy and weights again this week. Have a refridgerator of healthy foods, got some new workout clothes and a fitbit for Christmas and an itunes card to hit the Y!!! Starting 1/6 the Y is going to have an exercise challenge I signed up for!!! Been hurting bad again with my back so I am going to REALLY focus more on my nutrition and water consumption too!!!

Still going to weight watchers--hope to be down another lb. or so Monday. You have an AWESOME start to your new year!!! A cycle group I used to belong to rode their bikes every New Years Day. The leader, a good friend, died 5 years ago and my hubby and I have been trying to rejuvinate the tradition even if it is just the two of us!

I am all-way around but doing different challenges, The 10 minute a day challenge is the best as it gets people doing thing that the were not doing.
It is a 4 week challenge that I started 20 weeks ago. There are a few of us who kept going to motivate others after we finished.

Any loss is better than any gain so well done.

Flu is nasty at the best of times, I am glad you are better.

Hey TCanno! I know long time no hear!! I am down a few lbs., in part due to the flu, but really watching it too! My 10 day goal is as follow:

-don't let others negativity derail me
-focus on the fun non-food things I enjoy at the holidays
-go to the Y at least a few days this week
-RECORD exercise!!

My long term goal is to get down to 155 lbs. especially for my 30th class reunion, in 2015.

Not doing well at all! But have to stay with it!

My goal by 11/25 is:
-to exercise every day

You know sometimes I get frustrated with my slow weight loss and I struggle at times making my 10 day challenge; but as I am sitting here typing this, I realize, I have made a lot of changes and people are asking me if I have lost weight because I am slimming but as a woman we are still glued to the scale. So maybe I should also post non-weight goals...So here it goes:

For the next 10 days...til 11/9:
-I would like to increase my water consumption to AT LEAST 6 glasses a day (I have ALMOST quit soda...diet also)
-Plan on making it to the Y at LEAST 5 days this week
-eat some sort of breakfast EVERY DAY
-eat dinner at home every night we don't have something going on
-don't overdo with appetizers or alcohol when we go to Chicago
-eat more fruits and veggies!!! (at LEAST 2 of each/day!!)

Tcanno, i have been stuck lately...HOWEVER, I have joined a woman on weights class, joined a survivor challenge at my local gym...AND going to a yoga class with a girlfriend. Unfortuneately my pain issues are catching up with me but I have a physical therapist who does water therapy so I am going to hit the pool more frequently...

My goal for my WW weight on Monday is going to be 243lbs. My 10 day goal for 11/9 is 242lbs., or lower.

244 seems to be my stuck weight. By Thursday 10/24, I HAVE to be down to 243lbs. that is my WW goal. 10days from now is 10/31 and I am hoping to be down to 241lbs., or less. I had my hubby hide the Halloween candy. Unfortuneately we have company 2 more times this month but I am going to pre-figure my nutrition. I have also been sick and not able to workout as much!!

10/10--Did it! My next goal is 242, or less by 10/20. (WWweigh date is 10/17...so by the 20th should be down+) hubby is re-charged by my efforts and wants to be down 2lbs. On Thursday night...we r making Thursdays "date" night and depending on weight loss = type of restaurant/treat we get!

HI TCANNO! Nice to see someone post besides me recently. Will have to poke John! Been here more because I had been struggling but have had a good week! With me, the more I post...the better I do!!

I am at 241lbs. The only thing I worry about is that hubby and I are going on the road for a week for a wedding out in Colorado then I am going to visit a girlfriend in Michigan. I have alot of BAD vices on the road!!! However where I am going when I visit in Col. has more nutritious options and my friend usually cooks healthy in Mich. So, Bob and I will just have to watch snacking. We have done MUCH better! it used to be we'd hit gas station snacks we don't do that so much anymore!!!

Don't wish me luck but...you know what I mean...It is not about "wishing me luck" as
"wishing me to make the right decisions"

Ok, this is all very crazy!!! I have been gaining left and right with no perceived change! Then I go on a few long walks and throw myself into a MAJOR physical and emotional depression yesterday and had a rest day and ate the same and lost 5lbs.(?) I know alot of this is water weight but my body does crazy things and then I have a horrendous day right before I lose MAJOR weight? I used to walk longer distances all the time with no issues? I love to be active but I struggle! I am calling my medical Dr. because I have been having major pain issues that have nothing to do with the type of exercise but everything is out of whack! I know my body but my weight is EVERVERWHERE!!! I am going to go to the pool today, NO DARN IT! IT is closed and walking is NOT an issue today but I might try to ride the bike? FRUSTRATED! OOH! I will see if the hubby will go with!

Just not doing well at all! My 10 day goal for 9/10 is 244lbs...really fell off the wagon with Callie's death. Having a rough day today but have been really trying on the food consumption but my fitness has fallen off the last few days! I find if I don't work out every day I really struggle with weight that week.

I am disappointed! My buddy has cancelled on me at the last minute several times in a row since last week. I did it once cause I was REALLY sick and she got mad at me. I told her I don't mind her walking with me but she has to be respectful and let me know.

by tracking my emotions and reframing my negative thoughts.

I made my goal for this week/10 days. WHEN, not IF, I get below 236lbs, I won't have weighed that since November 2010. I have a wedding coming up with the family. Went to a family reunion and was mortified by family pics. (Even when I was at 160, I hated my appearance so that is something I have to work on!!!) The same family is having a wedding in September and I would like to be at LEAST down another 15lbs, if not more! Girlfriend cancelled on lunch but plan on treating myself to a healthy lunch. Due to my pain issues, I have had to rely more on my eating habits to lose.

I know I am rambling but I feel good today even though it is raining like a son of a gun!!

Today 7/10=237lbs.

I made it consistently below 240lbs. In June. My goal is to get at 235lbs.. Or less by the end of July.

7/1-239lbs.
7/10-237lbs.

(I hope to accomplish this, I am thinking this loss will include some h2o weight)
