Bad week. The weather got cooler and my appetite sky-rocketed. I was hungry all week and gained almost a pound. That is what happened to me last winter. I need to find a solution to that problem.

I gained about 2.5 pounds while on vacation. Argh! It will probably take me 2 months to undo the damage. But a little has come off this past week.

well Fall Rally over. so will start fresh today. October 7th.
will still use 209.6 as starting weight. next weigh in will be October 23rd.
I will work on journaling and water in take. taking mom to Costco so will go out to eat but will make healthy choices.

I started the week badly and gained some, but have inched down the last couple of days and managed to end the week with little loss of 0.4 pounds.

I'd really like to try this challenge! I need to get back on track with SP, like, yesterday! Lost about 13 pounds for my wedding in June, and I have been gaining and losing the same six pounds ever since. Now I'm trying to make sense of all the methods I've used before, trying to stick with low (mind you, not FREE OF) carb meals (minus my weekly ladies time...I know alcohol doesn't help with my diet, but a few glasses of wine is going to be my splurge....) and portion control.

I've also decided to try setting little short term goals. For instance I'm going on a long weekend trip at the end of October. Being four pounds lighter by that point would definitely get me mentally motivated.

Just started a book, The Happiness of Pursuit....So my Quest is for Wellness and it includes the gym, weights, water aerobics and getting some weight off.
Because I joined the Y, I canceled my WW monthly pass....too much for the two memberships. One of the reason I also went to WW was for the social aspect...but I have that at the Y. The support in SparkPeople is great.
My goal is 1 lb a week but it will more likely be .5 a week. I have a November appointment and want to have a good 5 lbs off by then.

09/20/14 =175, at the Gym with sneakers on will be my weekly official weigh in.

Disaster! I am getting very upset about this. I was successful at losing weight for a couple of years ... and now I can't seem to stop gaining it back. Over the past year, I have gained back 12 pounds! And I can't seem to stop it. My behavior has not been perfect ... but I have increased my exercise and I eat less than most people around me.

It's time to consider more drastic measures and I don't want that. I want to live a normal life and not have to "be on a diet" the rest of my life.
