Great challenge! I'm joining, today, July 28, 2016
May 29= 120 (Joined SP to help me get back to my optimum performance weight)
June 29 =112 (Lost 8 lbs in the first month and felt great about progress)
July 29 = 110 (plateau due to injury this past month)
August 29= should be halfway-ish to my goal (106)
Sept. 29 = should be three quarter-ish to my goal (102)
Oct. 29 = I should have achieved my performance weight, and begin maintenance mode. (100)

Great challenge! I'm joining, today, July 28, 2016

It's a coincidence that my weight this morning was the same as my last post on 1/23. February was a horrible month for me and I gained some ... which I have since lost. So I am back to where I was the last time I was active in this thread. I weigh on Saturdays, but will be a little late next week as I will be out of town over next weekend and won't weight again until Monday.

I gained 2 pounds mid-week when my appetite went crazy when we got some very cold weather ... and I ate some very salty food. But I have lost most of that and am hopeful that the next week will be a little better.

Welcome Again1. As you can see by my history, I've been at this a long time -- sometimes being successful -- sometimes not. But I keep trying.

Oh, no! I had a horrible week weight-wise. The weather turned cold and that stimulated my appetite -- like I was preparing to go into hibernation or something. I am hoping that some of that weight gain is water or something that will come off quickly this coming week.

Gained some weight while traveling over Christmas and not exercising much at all. Also had to skip some exercise just before Christmas due to illness. Actually, I spent most of the last month fighting 2 separate bladder infections, a bad reaction to the antibiotics used to treat the infections, and a yeast infection. But I THINK I am semi-healthy now and able to get back on track with exercising.

Held steady this week -- a little up, a little down, ended up about the same. Now that I have a few weeks "off" between semesters, and my other job should be a bit less stressful than usual, I hope to use that time to lose a couple of pounds. I really need to get back under 180 ASAP and I would love to do that by New Year's to start the year with a positive feeling.

I've had a disastrous 2 weeks as far as weight is concerned. I was traveling, celebrating, and dealing with a little illness. I have been grading a lot of student papers as this is the end of the semester. All in all, I have eaten too much and exercised to little -- and it shows on the scale. So depressing.

I see challenge has been going on for about 5 years now. I am willing to commit to losing 1 pound a week (trying to)...I need something like this to start small. My weigh in days will be on Tuesdays so I'll start tomorrow morning with a starting weight.

10/10/07= 203 (Started my journey. Lost 40, but re-regained most of it due to illness, injury, & weak character)
10/9 2010 = 192 (Joined SparkPeople. Got down to 177, but re-gained yet again.)
1/1/12 = 186 (Got my thryoid under control and had a great 2012. Lost 28 pounds!)

Bad weigh-in this morning. Regained most of the weight I had lost the week before. Some of it could be water weight as I have been focusing on strength training the last couple of days -- as least that is what I am hoping.

Good week. Lost most of the weight I had gained the week before. Whew! Now if I can just keep this up for a couple weeks, I get back under 160. That's my goal for the summer.
