I gained 2 pounds mid-week when my appetite went crazy when we got some very cold weather ... and I ate some very salty food. But I have lost most of that and am hopeful that the next week will be a little better.

Welcome Again1. As you can see by my history, I've been at this a long time -- sometimes being successful -- sometimes not. But I keep trying.

Here I go Again...hence my user name...I have had several back surgeries and I am working with a PT and a fitness trainer and that motivates me to do better with food and etc. so...

Oh, no! I had a horrible week weight-wise. The weather turned cold and that stimulated my appetite -- like I was preparing to go into hibernation or something. I am hoping that some of that weight gain is water or something that will come off quickly this coming week.

New year. Time to "start again" and do better this year. I gained almost 20 pounds in 2015 -- and I can't let that continue.

Gained some weight while traveling over Christmas and not exercising much at all. Also had to skip some exercise just before Christmas due to illness. Actually, I spent most of the last month fighting 2 separate bladder infections, a bad reaction to the antibiotics used to treat the infections, and a yeast infection. But I THINK I am semi-healthy now and able to get back on track with exercising.

Held steady this week -- a little up, a little down, ended up about the same. Now that I have a few weeks "off" between semesters, and my other job should be a bit less stressful than usual, I hope to use that time to lose a couple of pounds. I really need to get back under 180 ASAP and I would love to do that by New Year's to start the year with a positive feeling.

I've had a disastrous 2 weeks as far as weight is concerned. I was traveling, celebrating, and dealing with a little illness. I have been grading a lot of student papers as this is the end of the semester. All in all, I have eaten too much and exercised to little -- and it shows on the scale. So depressing.

Went on vacation and gained a little, but the scale seems to have turned around and my weight seems to be coming back down again. I've got my fingers crossed that I can keep losing.
