Had a couple of marathon days of cleaning, but haven't been very faithful with the 15 a day. Need to do this. I have more short 15 increments during the week than I have longer periods. So, starting today when I get home from school.... 15 minutes!

I cleaned house for about 3 hours today! I did a ton of laundry and meticulously cleaned our bathroom from top to bottom! I forgot what it felt like you have a clean bathroom! I even washed the shower curtain, it was nasty! then when I was just about to tackle the kitchen my husband got home and I just wanted to relax with him :-)

I did 2 loads of laundry, 2 loads of dishes and some organizing on the counters. That will probably have to be done again,,, not sure exactly what I will be doing for sure. I have too few counters and too much stuff on it.
Needless to say, I worked for more than 15 minutes. I did about 15-30 minutes at a time.

Ok, I know this challenge has been going on for quite some time but I'm in. I am just getting better from being sick for a few months and this house needs a thorough cleaning. I can't do much at a time because of still being weak so I will do what I can 15 minutes a day... more if I can but not going to push it.
I am going to work on the kitchen first. That is the kitchen and laundry area all together. Between the laundry and dishes and then going through things (cleaning out that fridge is going to be a nightmare!) I should be working there for awhile. I've done this before and it has gone faster than I would expect.

Today I got my cleaning done first thing. It was a great feeling to get that over with. I planned yesterday to clean the registers, but didn't. Today, I spent 30 minutes on the registers.

I will try to do all of my everyday cleaning in the mornings so I won't dread it for the rest of the day. The 15 minutes I put on here will be other projects that are usually put off if I don't take the 15 minutes for! I need this to keep me working harder.

I wish I only had 15 minutes of cleaning a day..:)! Since I have started sparks though a few weeks ago I have changed it to where I get all my cleaning done at once in the mornings, it normally takes me about an hour....so I have my evenings for working out! Per a calories burning calculator it estimates I burn an average of 150 cals cleaning house for 1hr, helps burn some of those breakfast calories off.

Cheese. Bacon. Tomatoes. Yum! Chef Meg finds a slightly more sophisticated version of the hot pepper poppers found on appetizer menus everywhere. Her version uses mild banana peppers, creamy Gouda cheese, a bit of bacon for a smoky richness, and tomatoes to offer a bit of freshness. She grills them to add another layer of flavor to the dish.
Serve these as an appetizer or unexpected side dish at your next barbecue!
Chef Meg uses panko, or Japanese breadcrumbs in this recipe. You can substitute whatever breadcrumbs you have on hand.
