Do you like sweet potatoes? You could try making up some sweet potatoes chips in the oven, and portioning those out for snacks. Maybe do a few of those and a few raw veggies. I've also seen recipes where people put matchstick carrots in the oven to make them chip-like. http://claireshealthyhome.com/easy-healthy-carrot-friesyes-carrot/ http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/baked-sweet-potato-chips I've been on an apple chip kick lately. I cut them up and put them in my dehydrator, then portion them out into snack size bags. That and a thing of string cheese is a favorite snack of mine.

This morning's sweet snack was an egg-white omelet, wrapped around 100g of strawberries mixed in to 50g of ricotta cheese with 1/2 tsp of vanilla --- and topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and maple sugar. 243 calories, 14g carb, 12g fat, and 21g protein --- and totally satisfied the sweet-spot.
I'm another one who will go with whatever I happen to be wanting at the time - although it's usually berries or fruit (melons, at the moment). I always have a selection of home-made muffins, cookies, and oatcakes in the freezer and have been known to throw together a self-crust pumpkin pie just "because"...
Of course, there's all of the things that you can do with yogurt, too: my current favourite is to take 125g of plain yogurt, mix it with 50g of ricotta cheese, stir in 1/2 tsp of maple sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 Tbsp of cocoa powder, and sometimes a bit of coffee, and then add 100g of raspberries for something that reminds me of chocolate raspberry cheesecake in flavour.
I can't resist fresh berries for a sweet snack. I'll turn down any sugary confection for a bowl of fresh raspberries! Add berries to granola or yogurt or drizzle honey on toast for a sweet treat during the day.
For salty, some pita chips or cut veggies with hummus, just sprinkle a bit of salt on the hummus. Peanut or other nut butters can also help salty cravings, or even just a handful of nuts.
And sometimes I just have whatever I'm craving, whether that's a bit of chocolate cake or some tortilla chips and salsa. Just don't over do it. :)
