I still think there is something very wrong with the label. I checked the USDA food database. I looked up 7 different pizza. I added up the polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fat and saturated fat amounts; and then compared it to the Total Fat in the pizza. In every case the difference was less than 1 gram off. (Yes, less than 1 gram)
The listing you are sharing make no sense. I think they may be errors in labeling. I think you need to contact the company.
Thanks for the explanation, MISSRUTH! But now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to interpret the following. (This is for a different product. I used the pizza earlier as an example simply because I could find its Nutrition Facts label online so that there would be no question I entered the label correctly.) This label shows a huge amount of Total Fat (line 1) that is not one of the listed component fats:
The key question in my mind is: Is the 69% meaningful in the usual sense? That is, assuming my daily target of fat is 65g, is it to come from total fat as listed in line 1 or is it to come only from fatty acids as listed in lines 2-5?

Yep, I am in the food business and they will only list the things that are mandated by law. Doing anymore could be the business in trouble if they make any mistakes. Once we have a good label that follows the law, changes are almost never made.
Weight is the result of what you have been doing for the past week.
I'm comparing Nutrition Fact labels and frequently see the individual fat grams don't sum up to the Total Fat grams. For example, http://www.kettleriverpizza.com/files/kettleriver/images/nutrition/supreme.png shows:
Total Fat 9g Saturated Fat 4g Trans Fat 0g Polyunsaturated Fat 1g Monounsaturated Fat 0.5g
What other kind of fat could there be?
There are plenty of other products where the Nutrition Facts list the 4 types of fats but don't come close to adding up to the Total Fat. What's missing?
