Sometimes I like PB2 (from Walmart and 1/2 the calories of regular peanut butter) powdered peanut butter with celery, apple or banana, or in a small sugar free pudding. I like original 30 calorie Almond Milk also.
My weight is day by day becoming more dependent upon Whose I am than on my circumstances and feelings.
Life here is a one-time deal. I want to live it well.

Some of my favorites are: Peanut Butter and Bananas, Popcorn, Graham crackers with peanut butter and a dusting of cocoa powder, dark chocolate with mint, homemade cocoa pudding, pita chips with buffalo chicken dip, and ice cream.
If you like wheat bread, try making your own so you can cut out the preservatives, and use honey instead of sugar.

If you're not opposed to carbs...I love popping some plain popcorn in my air-popper and adding garlic powder and parmesan cheese. You'll probably need a little spray butter or oil to help the seasoning stick. Great with a big glass of chocolate milk while curling up on the couch to a movie!

banana "icecream"...take a banana (I use ones that are just starting to rot, that are perfect for banana bread). Cut it up into chunks and freeze it. When frozen, put into a really good blender or food processor, add a very little bit of milk, just enough to make it creamy. Add cocoa powder and mix. Ice Cream!!! Declicious and good for you!!
I wouldn't be basing what you eat or don't on a movie, regardless of who made it or the reason for it.
I mainly eat banana before bed - sometimes it is a piece mashed on wholegrain toast, and sometimes on it's own. Sometimes it is with yoghurt. Most anything else, and I get hungry during the night. The bananas are generally very slightly green, which I understand actually lowers it's GI, too, which may be why I find it more filling.
My suggestion is to eat whatever you want that fits into your nutrient ranges, AND that you enjoy.
From what I've seen, the suggested diet from that movie and its makers is very similar to vegan, isn't it? While I'm not vegetarian/vegan, my natural menu preferences have always leaned that way a lot of the time. Those are some of my go-to snacks, but you can probably do a search for vegan snacks and come up with a ton more options.
Hummus for dipping carrots, celery, or whatever other cut veggies you have handy.
Oatmeal with some fruit mixed in.
Small taco salad from whatever beans you have sitting in the fridge, a homemade salsa, and some baked-'until-crispy corn tortillas.
For something sweet, caramel and apples.
Homemade potato chips (skin on).
If dairy is an option, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, smoothies, etc.

I usually don't like processed foods, but my daughter got me to try Almond Breeze (milk) original unsweetened. I like it as it has less calories and more calcium. It's a good substitute for milk, which I also drink sometimes.
And of course graham crackers.
Also ~ Add peanut butter to the graham cracker.

Ice cream. I grew up eating ice cream at night and nothing else satisfies me. To control the calories, I have switched from a bowl of ice cream to some sort of ice cream bar or ice cream sandwich. Usually it is a Skinny Cow product for around 150 calories.

Any more ideas? I'm looking for the most nutrient dense, best for you in the whole world snack.. something that if I ate every single night would add years to my life and health to my body!!!!! But that would also give me those sleep chemicals!

I'm 29 years old, and for as long as I can remember I have a piece of whole wheat toast, with peanut butter and jam or honey or banana on it in the evenings, along with a glass or two (or three) of milk.
I just watched the movie forks over knives, which makes me question the healthiness of bread and milk. I'm thinking it might be wise to replace them with something else, but I'm looking for something that would be satisfying and enjoyable!
A banana and peanut butter would probably do the trick... anyone have any other ideas though?
