It's probably water weight. Salt can cause retention of water, so I bet you will be lighter in a few days once you get back to eating right and drinking your water. Stress never helps and when you are not eating much your metabolism lets you know it.
I would not worry about it too much. But I know how frustrating it can be when you're not eating and the pounds start to appear. Hang in there. Slow and steady wins the race.
In the big scheme of things does it matter? Weight is weight, I'm sure it will come off as fast as it came on. It's probably because you didn't eat enough, didn't have healthy fresh foods, and got dehydrated. Stress holds on to everything.
Start fresh and think about how you can prepare in advance what you need when you are stressed. For me it's really difficult. But I do think it's possible.
