Also Google "low-income dental clinic" and the name of your county or city. You don't actually have to have all that low an income to qualify for some. Where I live, we're very isolated (260 miles from the nearest full-service US dentist), so there's a once-a-year, no-questions-asked dentistmobile visit. The same group travels around the country and does clinics at fairgrounds and stuff; they ask you pay whatever you can, but you put it in a jar and no one looks until the end of the day.
And if you have regular health insurance, use it to schedule a doctor visit to discuss the dental issues. On rare occasions, health insurance will cover a limited amount of dental care if your doctor verifies that it's necessary to solve nutritional issues or prevent heart disease, or that the dental problems were caused by a covered health problem (certain conditions that leech calcium from the teeth, for instance.) It's very rare, but it's worth a shot.
One other option is to find out whether your nearest community college offers student dental insurance. If so, it can actually pay off to register for classes to get the discounted insurance (and beef up your resume at the same time by getting continuing education or a technical certification of some sort.) Again, it's a long shot, but it will only take you an hour or two to investigate it and do the math.
This is a slight tangent to your original question, but as a PP said, not dealing with dental issues promptly can result in some serious medical concerns. Do you have dental insurance? If you do, you can speak with your dentist's office manager and see if they'll agree to submit the insurance first, then establish a payment plan for the remainder not covered. If that doesn't work, take a look at CareCredit. It's a credit card for medical-related expenses. It's been a few years since I had to use them but I think the interest rates were reasonable, particularly if you pay into it as soon as you're able (you were going to save for the dental procedure anyway, so go ahead and have the work done then just drop the money each paycheck onto the account).

I got put on a 14 day liquid diet for health reasons. I've experimented and learned a few things.
1. To keep my protein up I use a non-flavored whey protein powder, added to soups. 2. I love my magic bullet for blending my soups. 3. I can't have the solids, so I use a potato ricer to sift them out. 4. A warm chocolate protein drink is like heavenly hot chocolate. 5. Get some canned/boxed chicken and beef broth (low sodium) to thin out thicker soups. 6. I AVOID bouillon - the salt swells me up. 7. Yogurt can be thinned with Almond milk, or other milk you may prefer. 8. Jello melts in your mouth and counts as liquid (according to my PA) 9. Refried beans can be added to thin soups. 10. Peanut butter, vanilla yogurt and Almond milk are delish mixed together.

You say you don't have money but you can get a tooth abscess and an untreated tooth with spread bacteria into your system....if the bacteria spreads to your bloodstream or your heart the consequences can be fatal...Get to a dentist without delay...most dentists have payment plans...if not go to your church for help...don't play around with your health...my father had to have a heart valve replacement from a bad tooth that flooded his system with bacteria.....and it was over 100 grand and that was over 28 years ago. I'm trying to think of other soft foods...puddings, eggs, well cooked pasta, greek yogurt (I mix it with peanut butter, YUM), regular yogurt, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, cream type soups...you might need to actually eat more filling meals, so you don't have to eat as often....

thanks CJGoddess that was my concern because I did not want to change my calorie intake and that is what I need help with. I just need to figure out a way to keep it balanced while I have these mouth issues and chewing food has gotten too difficult at this moment.

I wouldn't change your calories, you should still take in the same amount you are now. You still need to make sure you get all your carbs, protein, and fats in. Keep to a minimum of 1200 calories per day. One thing that may help is to make your own meal replacement shakes. Use protein powder, veggies and fruit, mix with some nuts or nut butter and blend up. The nut butters will help increase your calories. The store bought meal replacement shakes tend to have a lot of sugars and can make your carbs go a little out of control.
Also, there are soft foods that may also work for you such as bananas, pudding, some breads, and cheese.
My teeth are going bad and until I get the money to get them fixed everytime I eat regular food my mouth hurts outrageously. so my thoughts are to eat soups and meal replacement shakes and such. can anyone help on how I can get the proper amount of calories and such while doing this? I know some people do this as a way to lose weight and yes I want to lose weight but that is not the reasoning behind me doing this. I just do not have the money but hate the pain when I eat right now.
