Cold cooked vegetables, tossed in a big bowl with two tsp of canola mayonnaise - toss really well and that mayo goes a long way. Seasoned with salt and pepper.

I make sure all of my meals are balanced. For me that is key. For snacks I have a fruit and protein.

The surest way to feel satisfied is to hit all of your spark targets, don't wait until you are really hungry to eat.

Try not to eat dense calorie foods. For example - most granola bars are 200 calories. Instead opt for string cheese and an apple. You'll feel more full, longer. More ideas from spark www.sparkpeople.com/resource/nutrition_art

A cup of carrots with a tbsp or two of peanut butter.

Grapes and yogurt.

Apple and cheese.

Half a PB&J with a few grapes, carrots, cantaloupe, watermelon, or some other fruit or veg.

Starting: 41.1 BMI and extremely sedentary
Current: 30.4 BMI with strength-training and low-impact cardio
Mini-goal: 29.9 BMI (about 164 lb) and 5K walk or run
Mini-goal: 24.9 BMI (about 136 lb) and half-marathon walk or run
GOAL: 23 BMI (about 125 pounds) and marathon run!

Oatcakes with no added sugar crunchy peanut butter. Good as a pre or post workout snack too.

Also, full fat natural yoghurt (no added sugar) with 1/4 cup of oats and a portion of fruit.
