I do not like to eat fruit that is not cut up so I make a lot of fruit salads. citrus salad - fresh oranges, grapefruit, spinach and avocado berry blend - a mixture of berries with kiwi topped with plain Greek yogurt spring salad - papaya, pineapple, mango late spring salad - fresh cherries, mango, apples and oranges early summer - apricots, nectarines and cherries summer salad - melon mixture with passion fruit juice early fall salad - stone fruit mixture late fall - apples, bananas, pineapple winter - apples and pears

I have to control myself with fruit! I get carried away way too easily! What I *like* in fruit salad... apples pears cantaloupe honeydew watermelon grapes strawberries bananas blueberries raspberries blackberries raisins date bits sometimes a few nuts
I can't do citrus, but I very rarely used to add a splash of some orangey liqueur and stir it in. I like just plain lemon juice drizzled in, too. A bit of whipped topping at serving. And, of course, it has to be served *very* cold!

I can't remember the last time I had a fruit salad. I don't really have a sweet tooth so I rarely want more than just a banana as far as fruit goes. However, on the rare occasion that I do have it, it would be pineapple, grapes, cherries, watermelon/melon and blueberries. Another reason I don't eat it very often is that I like to put together a HUGE fruit salad so I would get a ludicrous amount of sugar (and calories) from it. I'd rather save my calories for something savoury.
