I don't know if this is your case, but sometimes our Sparkpeople program gives a too high calorie range to members who have a greater amount of weight to lose.

This could be your case. Even so, you still want to be eating more than 500 calories.

Aim for about 1300-1500 calories daily.

Thank you so much! I thought that would be the answer but I was kinda hoping I was wrong. Looks like I need to find me new recipes and a way to fit in my daily calorie in take. Again, thank you!

Yes. I don't always eat back my calories during the week because I tend to eat more on the weekend. But even if it don't eat them back I'm still getting between 1500 - 2000 calories.

yes, it is bad. It is impossible to get all the required nutrients on less than 1200 calories a day.

I started sparkpeople a few days ago and today, I started to record what I ate. My daily goal for calories is 2026-2376. Before dinner I noticed I had only hit 500 calories. Is it a bad thing that I do not hit even half my calories?
