Also manufacturer errors and members inputting labels wrong:
Fiber One cereal has 80 calories a serving, with 25 grams of carbohydrates for example. That's impossible, since 25 grams of carbs is roughly 100 calories. A 1/2 cup serving entered by a member was 60 calories, but still 25 grams of carbs.
Most often it is the reverse.. not enough carbs/protein/fat to add up to calories in a serving, The Fiber One is either probably more than 100 calories, or less than 20 grams of carbs, but since a lot of what we input, is from SP, who just enters manufacturers nutrition labels, or other members, who may hit a wrong key, there will be some errors.
We have ranges though for this reason. Whether it is 5 extra carbs, or 20 extra calories, you can still get it into the range. So 50 % carbs may be 45 %-55 %, so don't worry about hitting 50 % on the nose. A range allows for these small variances.
