Muffins were one of my biggest disappointments when I made the sad discovery that "calories" not only existed, but actually applied to *me*! There just don't seem to be any commercial muffins that aren't incredibly high in calories and fat for what you actually get.
The good thing is that they are one of the easiest things to make yourself, with much healthier ingredients, and in all different configurations. I just finished a banana muffin, loaded with steel-cut oats and dark chocolate chips and toasted almonds and raisins for only 154 calories (30g carbs / 4g fat / 3g protein) - THAT I can live with...

Colonoscopies allow polyps to be removed before they can become cancer, or let cancers be found before they are too widespread. If you are 50 or older, or have any symptoms, please don't let fear stop you from covering your butt.
