It is about 5.5 servings per container so I have lunch the rest of this week as well as a quick dinner for the kids on Friday.

well.... if you don't mind buying something that's going to provide you with a lot of leftovers....

you can get Sabra hummus in individual serving cups - there's like, a dozen (or more) in a box. But they are really quite tasty, 150 calories apiece. That, and a big bag of celery stix or those baby-size cucumbers or other pre-sliced veggie-in-a-bag, and you have a nice snacky lunch - with leftovers to carry you through for many more days.

Or, in the refrigerated case, you might find a 4-pack of chicken wraps... one wrap is a "normal size lunch" - but then you have three more!

Another area would be individual cheese servings - but you would have to buy a bag of 12 or 24 just to get the one or two you'd want for your single lunch.

That's the problem with costco, absolutely NOTHING is served there in single-sizes.

You could try making a "lunch" out of the samples they dole out but the calories on those can add up fast, and too often whatever they are sampling is maybe a "bad choice" - chocolate-covered-whatevers, pieces of cake, frozen deep-fried-appetizer things etc.

Maybe you'd be better off doing your shopping there, and then leaving the store and finding somewhere else to go for coffee and a bowl of soup or something....

I need to run to Costco at lunch and looking online, their food court is out of the question. Is there anything in the shopping area that would make a good lunch choice? Usually I only buy salad greens and eggs at Costco.
