They'll thaw in the fridge, but they might produce a little water. I tend to put frozen veggies in with my lunch, then heat it all up at one time.

I shall stay the way I am because I do not give a damn.

I just put the frozen ones in - they do have a higher water content so if I am using them I usually just put them in a contain and drain after they defrost before using.

I would not boil them. They will defrost and cook when you heat up your dinner.

I'm interested in the answer to this also. I parboil my frozen veggies (cook them briefly in boiling water and then drain) and store them in the fridge to be used during the week.

I bought containers to make ahead a week of food, or at least 4-5 days worth, for smaller meals thru the day. My quick question is this:

i bought frozen veggies to put in these meals. some will be frozen and some will be in the fridge. do i need to boil any of the veggies? or just put them i nthe containers for the fridge. they'll thaw in the fridge??? just wondering. thanks.
