In my quest to make breakfast still tastey yet lower in carbs and lower in sugar and healthier for my kids (and me) here is what I made today and it turned out great! Kids loved it.
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup protein powder ( I used sugar free vanilla)
1 egg white
1 whole egg
1/2 cup milk (I used whole)
2 tbs butter
1 tbs stevia
(We are into using real ingredients not low fat that is why you don't see low fat milk or margarine)
It makes about 5 really large crepes. They have around 150 calories each with 12 grams of protein. We sprinkled with stevia and enjoyed.
Each day provides with with a new opportunity to be successful.
