The thing about juicing is that by throwing away the pulp, you're throwing away the stuff that keeps what you're drinking from digesting too quickly. Basically, you're getting all of the fruit sugar with none of the fiber to slow down your insulin-glucose response.
I am doing a juice re-boot (with added protein) for 5 days. How do I go about counting calories? I only drink the juice, I toss away all of the pulp. For example, today for a breakfast juice, it included:
10 stalks of kale 6 stalks of celery Handful of Lettuce 2 Cucumbers 2 cups of spinach 2 Green Apples 2 Lemons
Do I log it into the nutrition like I would if I was eating them whole….or?
