I'm a bit confused - at first I thought you meant that before 11am, you should only eat protein (no carbs, minimal fats since it's hard to have protein completely sans fat). Other posters point out this could also mean that protein should only be eaten before 11am, and at 11:01 you can only eat carbs or fats.
If it's the first, I can kinda sorta see value in that - I eat less overall when I have a protein-rich breakfast and am usually not hungry for several hours (though it seems a bit restrictive to say ONLY protein, which wouldn't allow for a piece of fruit or reasonable fats). If it's the second, that's not really good nutritional advice.
Do something everyday that your future self will thank you for.
My thoughts are that I would KEEP AWAY from that weight-loss program. People like that I wonder if they have qualifications, and if so, where they got it from ...... a breakfast cereal package?
Protein is best eaten at each meal, in part to ensure satiety, and also to ensure that our body functions properly over the course of the day. If you eat snacks, often including lean protein in a snack is also recommended.
Protein only before 11:00 am----That is very poor nutritional advice; especially during a weight loss program. Research shows the benefits of having protein throughout the day---at all 3 meals. It helps in keeping you full throughout the day and helps to maintain your muscle mass.

Why? I'm curious what their rationale is. I don't think there's anything biological supporting that idea, though it's certainly a reasonable style of eating if it suits you. If it ever stops suiting you, though, there's certainly plenty of other ways of eating that will do just as well.
I have been going to an Idaho weight loss program. One of their big things is to only have protein before 11 am. It has been working for me for the most part. But he also has other things I do as well. What are your thoughts on protein only for breakfast?
